So we got the bears in ATL tomorrow. Predictions and discussion.


i see us taking this one pretty easy, i know the bears are doing ok this year but we are better and were at home. Im calling 27-17 falcons

We both have a 3-1 record so we will both be fighting hard to get the W in this one being careful not to let the undefeated division leaders for both our divisions start to pull away from us. I think the Pats will beat the Saints though so maybe we will be all tied up.

I was looking at this, as well. Both the Bears and Falcons are in second place by a game and both have undefeated teams ahead of them. I don't think (and neither do the Bears probably) that the Vikings will lose so the Bears really need this game to stay right behind them. So that might give the Bears extra incentive to play for the W harder.

The Falcons, on the other hand are probably thinking that the Patriots will beat the Saints, so they want the W to tie for first. But they may also realize that they won't lose any ground if they and the Saints both lose.

My bet is that the bears whoops that ass. Home field advantage wasnt there for Atlanta last year as half the crowd was wearing bears gear. My loud drunk ass will be out there again decked out in bears gear getting loud in the endzone.


BTW, I will be at Taco Mac getting fucked up at about 4 this evening getting ready for the game. I wont be hard to find.

Chicago still suffering from bad QB play when it matters most. Cutler missed 2 open WRs for TDs and both times chicago came away with nothing.

Good win for the falcons but neither team is affected by this game. Falcons need to beat the saints and bears need to beat the vikings.

I couldnt agree more. They spend all this money on a gun slinger QB, then they play conservative as hell with him. I have always thought that Lovie's conservative play was going to kill the bears when it really counted.

The announcers on the show last night were talking about whatever happened to the days of Walter Payton and Gayle Sayers and the diving over the top at the goal line where Culter was obviously not getting it done by passing. I was actually wondering the same. Forte or Hester would have been good candidates for this move. Later, QD.

N.O. wont stay undefeated forever ( I hope ) so as long as we stay within one game of them we are just waiting to share the top spot. We need to play every single game like its a playoff game, especially since we still have to play N.O. 2 times.

The Falcons have a little more wiggle room, but in the end the Bears MUST at least split with Minnesota and the Falcons need to split with the Saints. The only way either of these teams get in if they get swept is if both get swept.

BTW, this is assuming either the Eagles or the Giants get a wildcard. If the Eagles fall apart then the Bears and Falcons are the wild card teams.
