ive seen alot of online sites that can do it for like 30 dollars, just i dont know if any one of these sites are better than another. anyone know a good site to get this done? haha, would like to do a criminal record check......on myself....ive been waiting for my texas CHL to finish processing, and got some papers requesting info on something that happen then from the court. was kinda curious as to why it was such a big deal and everything ive found says its a misdemeanor. so basically i just found out that something that happen in 06 might have been a misdemeanor, which will disqualify me for the CHL, and just wanted to check my record to see if it was, or if anything else that was worse than i thought is on there. they probably told me when i was in court but aside from me being pretty un-caring of the law back then, i have the worst memory.....i even forgot how old i was about halfway through my last deployment!

They probably get a discount, they do a lot of BG checks I'm sure. I am pretty sure you can go to the police department and request one, it does cost but not sure how much...give them a call and find out.

not really concerned on the pricing, more just the fact of if any sites are better or more reliable than the others. but ill check the PD and see what they say

it cost 15 bucks for a fbi background check..... that info contains all "system" records but..... theres a trick. sometimes court records do not go into the "system" based on you not gettin in trouble for so many months or years an so on. kinda like a probation.... but these records will show up when whoever is screening you calls the local court houses..... generally they will call all courts in the surrounding counties and have the records searched...based on the zip codes you give with your background check paperwork.
there are ways around passing a background check but its prolly not a good thing for me to tell ya.
generally you can check your record online for free if you check circuit court(criminal) and traffic court online on the states court records. it is public info

This is true, but it didn't show anything on mine. I know it should have and they are already on there.

i used ussearch.com and it didnt pull anything up on me either. maybe cause it only took 2 digit year dates for the birth day and i typed 1986 and it only took 19. not sure if that matters though.

If you're just checking GA you can search the database of the GA Dept. of Corrections for free. I found half my family and most of my friends from High School in there, lol :goodjob:

you dont even have to pay for most of the records, just go to the department of corrections website for the state you have been arrested in and search your name in the system. I found some crazy things about someone I know that was in jail. Things from the 80s about kidnapping and murder...crazy stuff
