was a great price congrats
When I upgrade, I'll be sure to see if you're still interested.
Unfortunately, my current power supply doesn't have a 6 pin PCI-E connector. I could've swore it did... Oh, well. Best Buy has a damn good deal on a pretty nice power supply.

To my surprise, Best Buy's price is actually better than Neweggs!

just get a 4 pin molex to 6 pin adapter for like 3.00
I thought about it, but I can't OC my CPU any higher due to only having 430w. I got the new PSU in. Everything runs MUCH better than my 9500gt. I am very satisfied.

lol, im running a ATI 4850 on a 500w, 4gigs of dd3 over clocked and a amd phenom II x2 overclocked you should of been able to do it on a 430w long as it was not one of those cheap rebuilt ones they stick in the pre-built machines :P
Glad you like the 9800GT you probably will get more use out of it that i would of , i was just going to stick it in a back up computer :P
I just like to know that the power is there when I need it. Plus, the 430w wasn't 80+ so I probably wasn't getting the advertised power. It was MadDog PSU. Got it at Circuit City a few years ago for $100. It served its purpose, and paid itself off. What speeds are you running your processor at?

the 550 Black edition at 3.8ghz on oem cooler
Very nice. I'm running e8400 C2D @ 4ghz. Stock cooler for now. It won't even break 69c after hours of stress test.
