your opinions about carpooling (WWYD)

So two friends and I carpool to class in Atlanta each week.
Friend #1 drove during the first week, I drove on the second, and I figured it's friend #2's turn to drive. So I asked him to make sure if he's going to, and his reply was "fuck driving."
Then I'm like wtf?
I asked him if it's the gas he's worried about, or if he's just against driving, and it's the latter.
And since that's the case, I ask if I can drive his car so I can save my gas and use some of his since it's his turn. Isn't that the point of carpooling? To "share" the gas?
Well, he refused to that as well, and he gives me no gas money.

On his defense though, he meets me at a place that isn't out of the way, doesn't fart in my car, doesn't touch the radio, etc.

Should I boot him from the group?
Or am I being too stingy?

i take a guy that lives across the street from me to and from work everymorn. id be goin the same exact route and stop at the same places even if he wasnt riding but he still pays cuz he knows he dosent have shit else.

let that fukr walk if he cant give up some cash ..... or give him a ride to school then leave him.
