Hey guys I just bought a 78 280z (my first nissan). I got a little bit of work to do on the body. I want to go for a look like the pic below. Does any one have suggestions to where I can find the front end lip and bumper like the one in the pic and also the black wheel cover things? Thanks

Bad advice, just come to a GA Z club mtg there will be tons of people who know the car and can help you

You have a Datsun. Not a Nissan.

It's really not that bad. Not for that car. Unlike my car, that car still has a lot of after market support. So prices aren't as extravagant. Later, QD.

headlight covers, overs, 240z conversion? lowering? wheels? maybe i am missing something...don't you have to cut/weld some pieces on the front as well to make that front work?

240 conversion? For what? Lowering? Nothing to it. Wheels? Less than $1,000/set. Headlight covers are the only things that may cost money. I don't know about those. Later, QD.

Course the wheels are less than 1k, those are rotas/konigs in the pic. He has a 280Z, not sure if that's a 240Z front, I'm not too sharp on that, just assumed this one was because I remember seeing it a few times.

You can get Enkeis or Panasports for that car for under one grand as well. That car carries a popular wheel size. I'm not 100%, but I don't think the guy wants his car to BE that car. Just to look like it. Later, QD.

I found a place selling the headlight covers like those above for $92/shipped. Later, QD.

he said front end lip + bumper

That's true. I'm not too versed on the 280s or any of those Z cars so I can't be sure on much. Who knows, lolol. Later, QD.
