Monthly Integra Meet in Alpharetta!

Ok, so you all are probably wondering why nothing has been posted up as far as meets for March.

1. I called Andretti and it was confirmed that the $14 races only start after 10pm, and you must be 21 years of age or over.:( This is on Mondays. From what I originally understood, it was $14 during the day. Oh well, it's a little too expensive for the majority of us. However, it is worth it. There just may be better things to do with that kind of money. Races are normally $24 including tax.

2. Me and a friend of mine were getting a mountain run planned out, but that has been pushed to April, simply because warmer weather is not guaranteed around early March, and we just got too busy to plan it! :rolleyes:

With that said, let me know if you guys have any meet ideas, with a March 6th through March 14th window. :goodjob: and we will set something up!

That's great! I will keep that in mind. I was thinking about Sunday November 22nd or 29th. But final exams are really close around those dates. It all depends!

I am working on the group rate! Won't know anything for awhile though. I will call andretti after Christmas, and that way, I will have a more accurate cost per race ratio for the group.

I am still not really sure who all is going. I emailed Andretti and this is the information they had as far as pricing:

"We have one Junior track and one adult track. You must be at least eight years old and 48 inches tall for the Junior track and at least 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license for the adult track. We also have member prices and non member prices. Each race on the Junior track if you are not a member is $15.00. Each race on the Adult track if you are not a member is $22.95. Membership is $7.00 per person and is good for one year. Each Junior races after membership is $12.00 and you have the option of purchasing a 3 pack of races for $30.00. Each race on the Adult track after membership is $19.95 and you have the option of purchasing a 3 pack of races for $51.50. Sundays are quite busy at our facility, so I would suggest coming in at 11:00am when we open."

Ok, I need to address a couple things!

1.You are more than welcome to come to Andretti even if you won't be racing on the karts. We can find many things to do that should not involve too much money, if at all. If there are enough people, ofcourse, we'll do a round on the karts for those that want to.

2. If the majority would like the event re-scheduled, I will gladly do so! It does not matter to me. Say some time in March or April.

3. If the majority that show up would rather do something else besides karting, that's fine, there is really no itenerary! 11AM is the arrive time.

I agree! Having a meet here in the warmer months will be better I assume. Josh and I have the idea of going up to the Dragon the first week of March, Spring Break. We will see.

we should have an andrettis meet on a monday. i went tonight for my 1st time with some friends n i gota say the karts were intense. plus it was $10 a race so not that bad. i understand people have school but i mean its not like most of us go to sleep early anyway. we can get there early and reserve ourselves the early races so we wont be there late.

just an idea im throwing that out there... me n some friends from here on IA are planning on going on mondays if any1 wants to join us jus lmk

Maybe the Monday of the College spring break, that would work well. What do you guys think about Monday March 8th with the $10 races? I would probably do 2 or 3 races with that price!

We also have the option of making this an all car meet. How many of you are off from school or can get off from work Monday March 8th and another day from March 8th through the 14th? Say one meet at Andretti and another in Gwinnett? (on seperate days of course)

I may be out of town during spring break. Me an some friends might go on a road trip or something. Not sure as of yet. btw if you don't have a membership at andrettis its 7. I did 2races last night n payed 28. 10 for each race n 7 + taxes for the membership. The races are intense except for when you get some1 that can't drive in your race, sucks being with them on the track.

Night+Mountain Roads

It would be better during the day for sure. March 6th-14th is the "up in the air" time interval. ha. Andrew is working on the Blood Mtn event, (cause I really know nothing about the mountain!) and I will be working on the Andretti event. Having two meets in one week gives others the opportunity to attend both or one atleast. :)

There is also talk of a pre-integra dragon run in May to prepare for the real one at the end of July and beginning of August. That is also up in the air! (i'm already gettin ahead of myself)

Lol yea , I couldn't think of what name to pick so I just went with my IA name.

U can do that? I went with a couple of my friends, we just pickd the earliest times that were open which were 10 n 10:20. In my 10:20 I had this grl in front of me that couldn't drive to save her life, she spun out at mostly every corner and worst of all when she was coming out of the pit(car broke down I think) she came out without checking if any1 was coming, got in the middle of the track and I tryed to get around her and slamed into her, I just felt my car get on 2wheels n plastic pieces fly. I wish some1 woulda caught it on video.lol

Lol naw I just got home a lil while ago from helping a friend fix our friends eg.

Funny story I just have to tell, my friend changed the harness on the car and everything was ready to go. Turned the key and we heard no fuel pump. Thought it was the main relay, harness, etc. We were stumped thinkin what it could be, they my friend, who owns the car, was sitting in the car listenin to music, sticks the ecu out the window and says "hey do we need this to turn the car on?" We were all like wtf no shit lol.

Well that's my lil story I jus had to share lol.


But about the cruise im pretty much down for a cruise just as long as I'm free on whatever day it is

yup. the good part about mondays is after 10pm 98% of the games are free. but if your under 18 they make you pay like $10 to stay. what me and my friends usually do is sign up for a race at 10pm or 10:10 so while they start ID'ing people, we'r on the track thus not being ID'd and staying for the free games lol:cheers:

Ok, so you all are probably wondering why nothing has been posted up as far as meets for March.

1. I called Andretti and it was confirmed that the $14 races only start after 10pm, and you must be 21 years of age or over.:( This is on Mondays. From what I originally understood, it was $14 during the day. Oh well, it's a little too expensive for the majority of us. However, it is worth it. There just may be better things to do with that kind of money. Races are normally $24 including tax.

2. Me and a friend of mine were getting a mountain run planned out, but that has been pushed to April, simply because warmer weather is not guaranteed around early March, and we just got too busy to plan it! :rolleyes:

With that said, let me know if you guys have any meet ideas, with a March 6th through March 14th window. :goodjob: and we will set something up!

wow they must have changed it since the last time i was there which was like 2weeks ago. because i swear the races started at 9pm and to stay passed 10pm you had to be 21.... but i always had a race at 10 so i got to stay in.. hmm ima have to go check it out..
