would a universal not be able to slip over still...i think i know what you are describing, got a picture??
or some of the honda guys may know exactly what you are talking about
theres always the shift knobs that go over the shifter and use the allen key screws to hold it in place... just a thought:goodjob:

just "die" a thread and put a SKunk2 knob or something else that Screws ONTO the shifter...:goodjob:
Do NOT get "universal" one that has those little screws to tighten it with a collar and BS.. that shit might come off while your shifting or something.. lol

^ YES. That is exactly what happens! I have to go to the local parts store and borrow that thread tap tool and re thread my shifter.
I have a universal slip on allen key tighten bullshit knob on mine now.
Its fine for just everyday driving, but don't try n power shift that sht

You can also find adapters. My dad got one for a Hurst shift knob on his OEM shifter for his '06 SRT-10.

you could get a piece made with the ID of the threads on the shifter and with an OD of the thread pitch on the inside of your shift knob
