I'm looking to do another b series build, i'm picking up a blow b16a and i just want to make it quick, but that another story for later, but i found a great deal on blox Valvetrain (Blox Racing dual valve springs,Blox Racing retainers) and both are rated for 10,000rpm and i also want to run a skunk2 tuner series stage 3 cams. But my question is has anyone ran the blox valvetrain? also should it hold up to the skunk2 cams?

reps for good answers.

I would imagine it to be fine for the tuner series cams. I wouldn't imagine those to float that easily. I don't think you will be near coil bind either with them.

I ran blox valvetrain in my old d-series. dual valve springs and retainers. they never gave me any problems.
But I never really pushed them THAT hard, so I cant say from experience that they will hold up well to 10,000 rpms. But they seemed to be of good quality.

I have blox springs and retainers in my head, with ferrea valves, and pro 1 cams. They are doing fine so far dude. Rev up to at least 9200rpm with no problems.

I highly suggest a 1.8liter bottom end in that chassis.

You should be able to run their tuner series on those springs (I wouldn't run pro series on anything except pro series springs and retainers), but you do know since you are trying to mix match valvetrain parts most companies won't stand by their warranties. If you find any crazy wear the companies are just going to blame it on the other company's product.

1st off... ^^ Listen to this guy.

2nd off... listen to THIS guy (me). LOL. You should highly suggest it to him AGAIN. B16s are not what you want to put in an EJ1 - especially being an N/A build. Ls bottom ends are cheap. Talk to your friend.:D

NA b16 built is like a mildly modified gsr. No torque to speak of. I've been in a lot of them. A 4th gen would be the only chassis I'd have one in.

even then, i would rather have a boosted D in that bad boy...

^^ Agreed. A B16 is NOTHING like a mild GSR. NO TQ ftl.

Why even do it then? Just save ur money for the 1.8l bottom end or boost it. A "temporary" build is a waste of resources sir. *shrugs*
