Well, we decided to buy us some Duece and a Half's. (M35's as theyre also known)

After driving them about 60 miles yesterday all I can say is:

These are fun as hell.

And we got a matching trailor.

6x10 in All wheel drive on Military Tires.

Top Speed: around 50. We turned up the injector pump a little to achieve 55-60.

Engine: 210 hp, Continental LD-465 in-line 6-cylinder, multifuel diesel engine. It'll run on Diesel, Gasoline, Kerosene, Bacardi 151...

With a snorkel and the stock exhaust they are able to drive completely underwater. Also a very capable off roading truck.

WIN!

That trailer makes your f350 look like a ranger

With the winch, troop cover (the other one is still in the mail), and cleaned up-broken parts fixed:

4,000 each.

Cheaper than a new fourwheeler.

I'd like a nice 7.3 powerstroke. But we'll see how it goes.

It's a whistler turbo, so from idle up you can hear the turbo spool. It's loud as fuck too.

So these are street legal?? I'd go everywhere with those damn things!!

I'm sure some1 can fab up a larger turbo for you. There are some diesel shops around that can crank out more hp out of it to achieve a higher rate of speed.

That thing is bad ass BTW!

Jesus Christ.
Those things look tough.

Oh..and please resize the pics. Thanks!

I'd like to resize em but I'm on my little 7" laptop. It's kind of hard to see what size they come out as.

And yes they're street legal. If you saw one of them yesterday on bells ferry, 75, 575, or anywhere in Woodstock, it was me. We did about 60 miles following each other.

We might do some performance upgrades, however the top speed is limited due to the 6.38:1 gear ratio, so unless we change that out it won't help much

if I were you, I'd transform those trucks to this. Shit would be bad ass except that exhaust pipe. I'd stick to snorkel.

Here's a model version of it. Look at all those guns. Just in case them zombies or unknown shit start to go down you'll be ready.

To my knowledge unknown.

They're from 1971, I'm sure they have many stories to tell.

That is so fucking badass, where did you find them?

Repiks
10-10-2009, 04:58 PM
You have to do a bit of searching. The guy we found actually got out of the buisness of selling them. You can find them in military auctions for cheap, but it's hard to find one that's in good running condition.

They're made by Kaiser, and i'm sure you wouldn't be the first to do it. The parts for these things are insanely cheap, do eeet.

That is freakin SWEET!!! You should definitely roll into the Varsity with them next month!!!

Repiks

I might do the Varsity next month, depending on how much I practice parking. It's quite difficult. Especially with these huge tires and no power steering.

No sir, No CDL required. It weighs under 26,001 pounds. As long as it's for recreational use and not transporting masses.
