I know you are not a tuner, but you deal with cars quite a bit. The car can be fine for regular closed loop fueling but be seriously off on wide open throttle open loop fueling. In that instance it can run fine for putting around in, but be screwed for full throttle runs. Just trying to throw in some logic here.

As for the meth kit, I will most likely not have time to finish a meth tune before then. I tune until everything is perfect. On Sonny's initial tune I spent probably the better part of a couple evenings making sure it was running perfect on the street. But, leaks and stuff happen it is just part of the business...stuff rattles loose, rubber hoses crack, etc. As stated before work is crazy busy and I have 3 engines to build as well as a transmission in addition to 60 hours at my regular job and a couple tunes. Time is going to be very slim.
