It is an 87. I will be updating the thread as I do the build. I need to go through her thoroughly before throwing a bunch of parts on it.

That's awesome... What kind of mods are you gonna start out with?

After I get a compression check done, I will have R&D install a 3" single catback. The exhaust on it is pretty much shot.

That looks EXACTLY like my car once did before the crash. Same interior exterior color, same year (I can tell by the wheels) and I had 105K orig. miles on it, with all accesories working.... I haven't missed my car this much since losing it... damn you and your pics!

Seriosuly though, enjoy it, the TIIs are great cars.

The FB is like a few fuses and a set of wheels away from being drivable, so close I'm pissed I didn't take her home, but I wanted a good few hours of sunlight to test drive it and make sure nothing was done wrong before getting on the highway to drive it the hour and a half back home, and by the time I was ready to start the test drive, the sun had started its setting. I should get her back Sunday though.

Nice find man!!

The color is called Sapphire Blue Metallic(paint code 5A) on all S4 FCs, in 89 when they switched to S5, the blue changed hue slightly and was called Harbor Blue Metallic(paint code 5D).
