SOLD TO A GUY IN TENN! Thanks Travis!
You are looking at a real JDM import, RHD R32 Skyline GTS-T Type M, fresh from Japan. Not a clone, not a hack job, the real deal...and you gotta see it.
Yes, it is the turbo model, the motor is the RB20DET, also called the "Silver Top". This car is adult owned and driven and it has NEVER been raced, dogged, abused, or anything like that. It's hard to find a Skyline like this, in this pristine condition.
Comes with every bell and whistle option that you could get: HICAS all wheel steering, sunroof/moonroof, power windows, power lock, power mirrors, power FOLDING mirror, WORKING COLD a/c with fully automatic climate control, 4 piston BIG brake calipers up front and 2 piston large calipers in the back, both with drilled rotors, power ACTIVE front spoiler, rear wiper, intermitent wipers, full tilt and telescopic steering wheel, yellow fog lights, rear spoiler, and more.
On the bottom, its got brand new Enkei Gold Split 5 star rims and brand new rubber, 225/45/ZR17s, less than 200 miles on them.
All the maint has been done including timing belt, tensioner belt, water pump, valve adjustment, etc.
The interior is IMMACULATE!!! You really have to see it to believe it. Never smoked in, no spills, no stains, almost looks like a brand new car inside.
The left airvent is cracked e-brake boot shows some wear. The seats and carpet look and feel like new. Skyline floor mats have been on since new and the carpet underneath it shows that. Whoever had this car in Japan took extreme care of it and babied it.
The exterior is just as nice. No rust, no dents, all of the original paint is incredibly shiney and looks great. Only flaw in it is the top of the car, the paint is a little thin. The glass is all original and flawless, no pits or cracks.
Everything works on the car....the a/c is cold, all lights and signals and wipers and switches, EVERYTHING work like normal. This is truly a rare find. Almost like it stepped out of time in 1995 or something, it is really incredible.
This car has never been cut up or hacked or molested or raced or anything like that. It was owned by a private collector who had it stored for several years. It has never been registered or titled to anyone before. It has always been adult owned and never raced and never abused. Will consider all trades and I will consider trades plus cash. You really have to see this car to appreciate it's beauty and cleanliness.
Asking $16,500 obo ... trade values higher of course. Call me directly at 912-266-2455 anytime with your questions. PLEASE don't PM me, go ahead and email me directly at:
[email protected] with your offers. Be sure to include a complete description and a good set of pics with your offer. You can also email me and I can send you a complete packet of pics of the Skyline.
Lowballers will be ignored and wished that a thousand fleas infest their armpits!

wow. That is super high. They were selling a r32 GTR in way nicer condition for 15k no to long ago on craigslist.
wow x2 ... thanks for your input that doesn't matter.
So you saw an ad for a GTR on craigslist...big deal. What someone else wants to sell theirs for has no bearing on what I want to sell or trade mine for. You don't know what the deal was with theirs meaning you don't know whether or not it's been raced and dogged out. You don't know if its ever been cut up or wrecked or anything. You saw an ad and read a description, you didn't see it in person. You also have never seen mine in person so you have no way of knowing that the GTR was "...in way nicer condition..."
Epic failure on your part to assume things like that.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced for a vehicle that is 100% ILLEGAL IN THE USA. Buyers beware, ive been there, done that.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT to overpriced for the rarity of condition and cleanliness of this vehicle. You really should see it in person to appreciate it and know exactly what it is, before you pass judgement.
Also, it is NOT illegal to own a Skyline (or any other car for that matter) that is not titled and tagged. There are thousands of race, drag, drift, autocross, etc. etc. cars that are not titled nor registered in any form or fashion.
Of course, It is against the law to drive it on the street, just like it is to drive ANY car on the street that is not properly tagged with a license plate. Again, this car can be titled and made "street legal" so you can get a plate for it and drive it all you want. If you don't know how to do that, google it or give me a call, I know people who can get it done for you. There are lots of foreign cars in the US that have been made legal and have legal plates, I'm sure you are aware of that.
FYI...dealers can drive ANY car on the street, without license plates, simply by putting their dealer tag on the back. Their cars are for sale, without ownership paperwork, and therefore not required to be registered and tagged with the DMV.
People should really know ALL the facts and information before blindly posted in a listing that doesn't affect nor concern them.

my friend bought his r32 from a collector for only$12000 and it was titled and everything
big deal...I just bought an all original 1971 Chevy Chevelle 350, all original numbers matching a/c car for only $2000.....does that mean all Chevelle owners should lower the price of their cars because I got an awesome deal on mine???
And take a moment and read my previous post about different cars and different conditions. There can be ALOT of reasons that two different cars may or may not be worth different values. And I didn't even mention another good one...maybe the other owner was hurting for cash or got it for a steal and was just looking to make a quick buck. Maybe I have a high asking price to start cause I think its worth it and I know that IA is full of lowballers that are only going to put a guy down if they think he is asking too much for his ride. Maybe I got some room to play with or maybe I'm looking for something equal in trade. Either way, I challenge you or anyone else to find the same car as mine, in as clean condition as mine, and as non molested and non raced as mine, for the price of mine.
Be for real....and be relevant...or don't post on my thread.

http://jalopnik.com/5371967/feds-seize-illegal-nissan-skyline-gt+rs-in-cali
For your reading pleasure that these are now currently illegal to register again. The government is sending out letters to owners and seizing them, no joke. This is not limited to California. Until this is challenged in court, this is the current state of things.
Here we have yet another misinformed poster that doesn't know the facts. LOL....no, not at all. Those GTRs are being confiscated because they were brought in illegally in parts and then reassembled as kit cars by Kaizo. Not to mention, CA is a heavily EPA regulated state because of the cars and smog issues, so cars over there have to pass extensive EPA standards that other cars in other states do not have to meet. That is why there are lots of regular domestic cars that cannot be registered in CA because they don't meet those requirements.
If you go ahead and actually read and understand the article on that website, you will see:
"...officers are seizing grey market Nissan Skyline (http://jalopnik.com/tag/nissan-skyline/) GT-Rs imported by Kaizo..."
More importantly: "In this case, the cars were imported by Kaizo under a special exemption for automotive parts. They brought over the shells and drivetrains separately and then reassembled them. They were then, apparently, registered under the law as SB 100, which is for kit/show cars."
This is not one of those as this car has never been cut, never been disassembled, and doesn't have the "Kaizo Kit VIN" badge that they all had. THis R32 has been in the states for many years, at least 4-5, because it has been in a private collection in Atlanta, adult owned and rarely driven.
Thanks for the incorrect information.....and the bump! :tongue1:

Call me misinformed if you like, but it's this very situation that's holding me, a guy who wants an R32 and has the cash, from potentially buying this or any JDM stateside Skyline. Until it get's resolved, I'd rather not risk having my car confiscated on essentially a whim by the government. I'll just wait about two years and buy a 2010 in the $60k range.
All you had to do is READ the article and understand what it was saying, PLUS search the web and read the rest of the story and history.
There are HUNDREDS of Skylines all throughout the US...the Govt isn't saying Skylines are illegal, that are saying Kaizo's actions were illegal and they just happen to involve RHD Skylines. Had Kaizo been importing German made VW bugs illegally and badging them as kit cars, the headline would have read "Feds seive VW Bugs...." And then one would sound just as silly for saying "I'm not buying any European VW bug until they get it worked out." Its not the car, its the importer.
So it doesn't matter if you want a RHD Fairlady, Skyline, Silvia, WRX, or even a Yugo....all those other cars are legal to buy, own, and legal to drive if you get them properly titled and tagged....the Govt went after Motorex for illegal importing and badging and now they are doing the same to Kaizo.
I'd hope the new R35 might be only $60k in 2 years, but I doubt it will, imo.

All of you Skyline super information wannabie import masters need to get your facts straight. We "the Skyline community" at SkylineOwnersUSA.com are currently the tip of spear for the Kaizo court battle.
I highly suggest all of you interested in buying a Skyline or that own one have a look at the U.S. owner's forums where you can view all the "correct" information posted by us and not some 3rd and 4th hand misinformation.

'We the owners'? Like you are someone high and mighty.
lol, no I just own SOUSA with 500+ U.S. Skyline owner memberbase.
I too talk to Sean, we've held phone conferences regarding the Kaizo issue, we have the majority of all Kaizo owners working together on SOUSA to keep their cars.
Obviously you have little to no clue of the real issues and facts that we face. But I'm sure being that you claim to have owned a GTS4 and spoke to Sean and Daryl makes you high and mighty. The fact that you claim to have talked to Hiro means squat, that guy was a crook in more ways then what's on the internet.
And please don't try and use this to boost your stand point, I lived there for 3 1/2 years.
Just moved back to SC from Saitama, Japan.
I have an R32 GTS-4
Unless you still have a R32 and happened to ship it through Daryl like many other military guys did, at which point you need to contact James in regards to the Kaizo court case.
Here are some pics I found on my phone from when the car got here, it actually beat me to the US.
Funny coming from someone who just told the thread starter to do some research before he screws someone over on a lot of cash.
Where did your R32 go? Sold it? I'm sure the buyer would be happier then dog shit if it got seized because you circumvented the laws to bring a R32 back. How much did you sell your car for? I'm sure it was well over $5,000 which you and I both know a GTS4, before shipping costs, is not even remotely worth; maybe $1,000 to 2,000 at best if it hadn't been beat to shit by hundreds of Y plates over the years.

I can't help but to laugh at all of the mis-informed people who come in here talking out of their ass. You may have one piece of information that is correct, but that doesn't mean the other 99% of what your saying is. Hellrazor and Type-R are both correct.
I also think it's funny that this guy makes a FS thread, and all of you assholes come in here talking about how he's asking too much money and the car is illegal, etc. Why would you go into someone's thread and post that they're asking too much? What buisness is it of your's to tell someone what to sell their car for? You're not even interested in buying it, but you go into his thread and comment on the price.
Throwing names around to Type-R? lol...ya, that'll do nothing but dig yourself deeper. I don't know Hellrazor, but I do know Type-R and I know where he get's his info, and also who he knows. It has nothing to do with being high and mighty, it's about having the correct information. All of it, and not just "thinking" that you have it.

Thank you, everyone and their mom thinks they know the U.S. market value of Skylines when they see one for sale, almost as if they all have a little KBB for Skylines in their back pocket. Pricing a Skyline in the states is all on what the owner needs to get back out of what was invested into it, vehicle purchase to shipping to mods.
Cars manufactured in the U.S. sell for what they are worth based on the market value according KBB and other trusted sources that create the value listings. There is no such thing for Skylines other then getting on SkylineOwnersUSA.com and checking the average selling price for a car. No one in their right mind would sell a U.S. Skyline for it's market value in Japan, you might as well take a $5,000-$10,000 stack of money and set fire to it. Shipping isn't free and depending on who and how the vehicle/s came in the country will carry on a life-long price tag.
Legal-eagles need to stay at home. Rule of thumb, if you don't own one, haven't shipped one, never worked on one or even driven one for fucks sake don't tell "US" about them. Many of us have owned them for years upon years and some long before Motorex and the stupid mess they created.
And to the original poster/seller, good luck and I can bet you'll find a buyer on SOUSA cause there's tons of people with cash in hand looking to buy right now. If you'd like to get that car titled it's possible if you know the right people.

Your local country, county policeman doesn't even know what a Skyline is, much less what makes them legal or illegal. Again, this Skyline is NOT illegal to own, and it can be titled. I think the owner/operator of SOUSA knows quite a bit more than you do. You can go away now...quietly. :tongue1:

It's NOT illegal to OWN, for the last time. It is illegal to drive without first being properly registered.
This car is spectacular, and if I were in a position in life where I had a nice daily driver, and a trailer to carry this to events and shows... this would be the FIRST thing I bought with an extra 17,000.
That said, most people on this board will lowball you and criticize you... all in efforts to a) either get a steal on a car, or b) bash your car to hide their envy. Go elsewhere with trying to sell this, and don't settle for a "meh" trade.

And I've owned a imported 180sx as well. I got rid of it because I wanted to drive, and *did* drive it, almost daily for a bit. All.. not so legally.
That skyline is not a "vehicle" recognized by the United States. Its as much of a vehicle as a go kart, a rail job, or a tube chassis drag car. It's simply... an item. That said, on the same ground that I cannot drive my lawnmower down I-20, you can't drive the Skyline. You can do whatever you want with it on private property though. *Keep in mind, alot of Time Attack and SCCA sanctioned events require the car to be titled and insured to YOU!* This is the only downside to buying this car.

Thanks for the props and +10 for you. That is right, it would be illegal to drive if you don't have it properly tagged and insured....like ANY car in the US...all cars must be tagged and insured to be driven on public roads. This Skyline is not tagged right now but it can be if the new owner so chooses to get it tagged and insured wherever they are.

Ziptied...If you had read the article, you would understand that not ALL R32s are illegal. It is just not allowed to import any MORE. The ones that were imported before the rules were changed and that are here are grandfathered in. If this car had been imported recently, it would have been seized by customs at the port and never made it to the public.
And you dont know me nor my car and my car has never been in SC. So you don't know my car, you don't know when it came over, you don't know who the RI was, so you don't know crap. Again, quit hating and get off my thread. I hope you enjoy your ban.

I'm tired of cleaning up this thread behind you.
