the only thing is no places fix the 2gs if anything happens to them and if somewhere does it's way more than the 3g's so it's a risk buying a 2g the fact that it's only 4 gb isn't even that big of a deal but regardless good luck! maybe if you unlock it and jailbreak it there will be one less thing for people to bitch about.

3.1 can downgrade if wanted. if you downgrade it to 3.0.1 will the basband remain the same 5.11? and remain locked?
