Apparently the RX-8 clutch is under investigation by NHTSA. Might be good news for you.

That Clutch pedal has been an ongoing issue with the RX8. Now after how many years, they are now investigating it? lmfao

It is because of that family that died due to the floor mat causing the accelerator to get stuck. Now everything that could interfere with the accelerator/brakes is getting investigated heavily.

The floor mat issue is toyota/lexus and the decision to do the service campaign was decided by Toyota.

The Mazda clutch pedal is a completely seperate issue and is being investigated by the NHTSA. Mazda denies any problem but is being investigated

These are 2 seperate issues.
