450whp Evo 8 vs M3

After my buddy in his red evo just got a racing citation we headed home last night. A friend of mine was in his silver Evo that makes 450whp on 19.5 psi. Big innovative turbo. Anyway a red M3 comes up out of nowhere and the silver Evo gives chase. they line up beside each other but never take off. So i give the 3 honks and they go. M3 gets the jump and pulls the Evo decently. Not a stock M3. We get them to line up once more and the silver Evo builds some boost before this race and i give the 3 honks again, and the Evo pulls the M3 by maybe half a car. they were going prolly about 150-160mph. Cuz us in the red evo were doing 130 and not catching up.

NIce runs M3 guy if u r on the boards. hella fast car.

We met at pleasant hill first. then ducked off to old peachtree where north brown drive runs through. nice business park with a decent stretch. we were lined up with the 11.5 camaro but got busted b4 we ran. also that same silver evo gave the stock red one(they r friends) a 2 car lead from a dig and still won with a bogged launch. interesting night.

yeah that m3 was not stock, but it was a hot car and it would be nice if he came to pleasant hill to night if you are on the forms but i give you mad props

yeah that m3 was hot it is also the new so 400hp stock it runs real good i was fixing to get one and boost it,but i have other plans but that exhaust give you good pawer as does all m3 exhaust they are great hwy cars we have to run again.that was fun.

Yeah this is the E46 M3 Still the new one but a inline six stock 333Hp not and 278 TQ on crank Exhaust 10- 15 Hp and intake maybe 5- 8 HP.
But the new M3 will come out in 2007 With 450 Hp V8.

Just to add to this, the current M3 dyno's about 280whp.. and there arent many mods out there for them unless you have VERY deep pockets.

Next weekend I'll have my son so I doubt I'll be out, but the following weekend I'll probably be out there.

Ok ... M3 dont get a lot power on a exhaust and intake. Because is not a turbo car. and is not a big V8. anyway.. my exhaust and intake on the M3 did not do any much iam waiting fro the chip. Then it will a big diff maybe 35-45 WHP with Exhaust intake and chip = $$$$ too much lol

boosted G35 but I've always loved and appreciated the M3.. the thing that kept me from getting one was how expensive it is to modify them, I sometimes wish I had bought one though.

yeah it cost money i will boost my M3 soon S/C kit 7.5 Psi about 550 WHP but it will cost me around $ 9000.00 so,,, yeah dammmm ..

How much do you expect to spend on the installation? My TT kit was $7400 + $2000 install on top of a few other things.

Well with all my mods and installation about $ 15,000.00 headers, cat back, intake, lowerd, Stage 2 S/C Kit with Alkohol Injectionm, cams and 4.10 gears... yeah and that with some good deals i know a lot people that work on bmw. My goal is about 560-600 Whp.
