Just with a quick over view of the truck what do you guys think of the truck? I don't think I would ever consider buying a Honda as MY truck. This is mainly to lacking the V8 and towing capacity. However I was just recently in one and the interior was pretty nice. I am still not a fan of the exterior.
So just wondering your thoughts/opinions...?

Its not a real truck unless its made in Amurika, its ugly as hell on the outside also.

I've been in one as well and it really is nice in there and feels civilized.
So my opinion is about the same as yours.
And when we say American made I'm assuming the big 3. B/c now Toyotas are built here.

I've driven a few, I like the way they drive, they have decent power and torque, I thought it was a V8 when I drove it.

I don't think they should be able to call it a truck unless it has 300+ HP just my opinion

I agree, the truck is way to underpowered. If you try to haul something your engine would be at high rpm's and the torque isnt that great either. The engine would fail way too soon and the transmission would have to be rebuilt. Even if you dont plan on hauling anything, it still is way too underpowered for that size of vehicle. I do love the way it looks though, but thats about it.

its an Asians idea of 4x4 FAIL
good try, but i dont think it will ever be a true Truck, i think its for Women who want a truck, but dont really want a big ram/f150/silverado

Unibody truck is fail. It does have some nice features such as the cooler built into the bed and it's a comfortable truck to cruise around own. However, as everyone has already stated, underpowered if you plan on hauling.

agree with all above but they are very comfy and ride great and get wonderful mpg's....so if you found a good used one then wouldnt be a bad daily imho:2cents:

20 MPG on the highway is good mileage? Your out of your mind , take something like an S-10 or a Ranger and with the 4 cyl 5 spd and a proper sized bed you can still get better than that. On top of that its is completely freggin ugly as previously stated.

How is Lincoln Alabama not America?
I'm waiting for the Mahindra to finally start selling. Looks like a truck is supposed to.

You're comparing apples to oranges.

Nope.
I don't see a reason why they aren't though. Nissan and Toyota make pick ups with ample sized V8s.
A VTEC V8 would be interesting.
