Well, it is YOUR car and do what you like. Customizing is about making it your own and doing something you like, not what others like.

Exactly, do what YOU want and like, spice up the game a bit, we are tired of seeing Civics lol. Jus make sure you do the work right or have it done by a professional...nothing worse than an unpainted, broken bodykit on a car.

I would like to see the body kit your thinking of, some are good and others not so much... but I like the look of stock more than "ground kit" but to each to there own, personally I rather have a pro make something I made up or something idk but something on those lines.

body kits are kinda played out IMO, maybe look for a nice lip kit to go with some coilovers and call it a day

Body kits seem to have really dropped in popularity compared to how they were from like 2001-2004ish

ok im not bashing so please dont take it the wrong way. But, yes the dreadful but, i have to ask why continue to put so much money into a 4-door galant? is there a reason why you have decided to mod that particular car and if so then cool? i know a lot of people buy a cheaper car due to finances but then what gets me is they dump 1,000's of dollars into them to fix em up when they could just save that $$$ and then get themselves a nicer all around ride that they dont have to dump 1,000's into. Again, dont take offense as u know i met ya the other thursday and u seem like an aight dude so thats y i felt comfortable enough to ask ya...

Probably the same reason do four door accord... cuz its JDM YO!! lol jk

OP: i like some galants i actually have a 2003 and love it but they dont fair to well with bodykits unless its the vr4 galant kit:cheers:, and i don think the vr4 came in that body style so its say just a fonr lip with stock sides and rear would look pretty well!!

what makes any car nicer than the other..rather than opinion? Whatever car he decides to mod.. it will be dumping money into soo it all comes down to opinion..

if your set on a new look, id suggest wheels, or different wheels. its a big car so its not gonna look right with anything smaller than a 17. Even a set of Evo wheels or something, with a good size tire on it. Wheels make or break a car. The galant shares alot with the EVo so its only right to grab up as much as you can from it! with a car like this that isnt too popular, its not hard to stand out and be noticed. So it doesnt take much effort, but you have to be creative, and have a plan. So to me i dont think a body kit is neccesary...

id also consider getting a 97+ front bumper they sit lower and have a more aggressive look up front.

THERE IS NO SET WAY TO MAKE A CAR LOOK GOOD.

Meaning if you can make it clean with a body kit, then do it. If you can make it clean with a lip and slammed, then do it. Whatever path you take, just do your shit bro!

To be honest, I've always liked a Galant that had a body kit. Some where done right, haven't seen one done wrong except on that link that one guy had..

Galant's aren't exactly known for their amazing lines. Whatever you do, be a true representative of what you rock. Please don't buy someone's horrible R34 replica kit. Do something nice, subtle, and well worth the money you paid for it. RIP Fast and Furious, please don't necro that for us k? :2cents::goodjob:

S2kjd I wanted a galant cause I had a 94 galant gs only yr they tried a twincam 2.0l n it was so beautiful sounded amazing then a tree hit me lol..... Then I got another one was a 2.4l sohc lil slower but I love it. Makes the perfect sleeper. Yes was cheap 500 bucks but wasn't y I got it. I like hondas and nissans but their so many runing around her it's retarded.... My goal is a boosted galant :-) which came true few weeks ago until some ass hit me :-( but she still running around atl lol she isn't pretty anymore but she's fast and my dream for her is lower the back drop a 4g63 make it awd and make her the 1st drifting awd galant..... But that's a dream.... And for kits I choosen the jdm front bumper looks like 97 front with a nice lip and sideskirts... If u c my girl riding around roll up on her and try me :-) Ill take on any car boosted or all motor

I vote you go 97/98 front and cut out the nose. I did this then plastiwelded the bottom where the cutout was on the wife's toy. I love how it looks way more than any of the bodykits for the 7g. Here is a pic from a gadsm meet a few years back.

It's so hard to add a body kit to a Galant and make it look like it wasn't done at a flea market. I'd say do the newer front and maybe a lip kit (if it exists)

Good Luck with it.

As long as it flows to the contour of the car, then go for it. The body kits just started going way to crazy and out there that they didn't look right on any vehicle.

I'd say unless your driving a car that alot of performance companies experiment in making body kits for like a 350z nissan or like a cobra mustang, dont bother

just because these other companies that make body kits for random non performance oriented cars do not take the time to make sure these body kits snug tight and can withstand the aerodynamics of street driving.
so it doesnt end up looking all fucked up and flapping in the wind and just not bolting on right and looking manufacture quality!

this is why the "JDM LOOK" is so respected because the cars look "SOLID" like if they are just a modified sports version of the same car that would come from the factory if you think they would have made one:cry:

and in your case for the galant i dont they did

i say restore your kit to the stock look and have a custom made lip if you cant find one. im not trying to bash you just giving my point of view.

Also the reason why they are so many nissans ans honda on the road is because the manufacturers made sports versions of practically all their cars! civic type r's civic si's, integra type r, integra type s, sentra type s, Maxima se's, Altimas se-r's, altimas se. special edition 240 series, the gtr r33 & r34 with are the sport editions of the 4 dr sedan skylines in japan.

and these are just the sports versions of the same cars cause the domestics are like the lx ex's and etc.
so the parts are still compatible.

but in the case of your mitsubishi! unless you have a whole lot of money like it doesnt seem soo.

this is just to put things into perspective on why i think you should not get a body kit,
End Point your car wasnt really made for it in terms of being a high performance or edgy looking.

So unless you have money throw down on your own bad ass body kit mold i doubt you find one a good one.
