ok i have an issue,ok my sister has a 95 civic ex (http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?p=40165779#) with a d15b auto tranny,her car is loosing power,when you floor it it slowly pics up speed ans starts stuttering,so i took out the fuel pressure gauge out of my DA and put it in her car pressure is fine.Distibutor is fine new spark plugs,oil filter (http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?p=40165779#) and the car has no cel's what can it be???

do a compression test, good numbers?, then needs a better tune up. bad numbers? well, no point in asking then :tongue1:

i wouldn't say the timing just yet. but i wouldn't rule it out. try the compression test first and see what the numbers say.

i say if it does not turn out to be timing...look inside the dizzy cap...and examine the dizzy again

you shouldnt have a vss in an ef...

thats what i was thinkin but i was told a code 17 or 17 flases on the ecu was a vss

it acts like a vss when i had one go bad in my old s-10

How do you know the dizzy is fine? DId you put new/good plug wires on it?
