so my coworker calls me and tells me his 94-97 accord has this small issue
he was playing around with the ciggarette lighter and pushed it in and it wouldnt come back out....
he then found out that he had lost power not only to the cigg. lighter, but also his radio...
im guessing he prolly knocked lose some power connection behind the scenes.
he called me and asked me(as if i would know...)
so im gonna turn to you smart guys on here
what could have happened???

popped the interior illumination fuse, cig lighter fuse, or radio fuse..... but its a fuse
unless he pushed it too hard lol. shoved it in there, got stuck and overheated... prolly a blown headgasket, common overheating problem

it is most likely the fuse for the radio/cig lighter. i had the same problem on my 94 accord when i got it. Ended up being the fuse. but its also not hard to check those wires either. just pull the radio out and the cig lighter has its plug directly behind the lighter. easy to get to and see. its grey and attached to the metal support brace. chances are the lighter did get too hot and it popped the fuse. hope that helps.

take it to best buy and they will find the bad fuse and replace it for $20 unless you have a multimeter or your owners maunal then you can buy the fuse and replace it but id just go up to best buy it takes as long as buying the fuse would
