Ok...i'm lookin for, or the screen name of, a possible IA member....someone has to know the guy, and if they do pass the message on...

This past weekend at Import Showdown we had a run in with a guy who told us that the D-Series Integra was a disgrace to Integras and then he promptly got in his friends 12 second supra, el of fucking el at 12 second supras btw...(Sorry we disgraced one of the most mass produced vehicles in the world by making it faster than yours and all of your friends cars)

Then last night at the Varsity this same guy comes up to us and is talking his same usual game and then blurts out the most retarded thing I have ever heard in my life.... "I spent $20k on my integra and went 3 tenths slower than you missing 3rd gear"....I was speechless, i mean this guy was bragging about running slower than a pieced together d-series integra with his $20k JDM YO! gt35r k-series integra :lmfao:

So at any rate, I wanted to invite this guy to get himself a piece of the Integra and the Goat and let's see what $20k worth of GT35R K-series and and a shitload of JDM bullshit can do


Here's what i know about the guy...
DC2 Integra - JDM Front End - Lots o' JDM Interior who gives a shit stuff
k20 with a gt35r with k-pro (atleast i assume, b/c he was walking around holding his ecu last night talking about people stealing his car)

That's got to suck, spending 20k on a k'd integra and still slower than a d series integra. He must not know how to build an engine cause I would think that, that built k would be able to walk all over that d series. But then again you guy's do have that integra set up right though, that k'd integra might either be spinning a lot or he might just cant drive it. Good luck with that, if you do find him and get it set up I hope the d series integra puts it on him.

By the way to every1 who is talking and doesn't know what they are talking about... it costs virtually the same to build a worked SOHC as it does to build a B-Series, or K series - or anything else. In fact, you actually could dump a LOT of money into a proper pro-level SOHC head than what you would need in a K head.

Sleeving is about the same regadless... aftermarket rods/pistons?? SAME or comparable. The only real difference is the scarcity of the OEM block - you can get a D much cheaper and they are everywhere. A SERIOUS turbo or turbo-kit for either engine is about the same money at the end of the day. Furthermore, you're gonna have to REALLY beat on that D to get good TQ - especially in a DC chassis.

Stop spewing mis-information out there.

That D series Integ is def rare - and I like the road less traveled - but put that same setup in a CRX and you pick up gobs of performance (w/ respect to traction). You also lose a little structural regidity. But you'd lose in front suspension setup (DC > EF). I do like the Integ.

All in all - the guy w/ the K sounds like a douche.

The single cam-intergra-EX-omgdm made 450hp and 400tq (street tuned) and ran an 11.5 @ 129 ( busting up on the big end). Im in to see this happen.

You sure? I recall it being on our dyno before, it may have been a different car of his, but same owner, same motor etc. If we didnt tune it so be it, but I have talked to the owner at our shop before, and one of his cars has been on our dyno.

In defense of the owner of the white teg. That was his 1st time racing a car. Unlike jimmy that has been racing a Pro car for the last few years.
He was getting faster every pass he made, give him a few more times at the track and that car will be faster.

I know Ryan has ran 9s in his Yellow Eg, with a D series motor. So running as fast as jimmy is running doesnt shock me at all. Anything is possible.
