Just a topic for discussion if you feel like it. HAve you or do you know anyone that has made their own body kits out of different bumpers and such from scratch? And do you think it could be done?

I think that its possible with the right skillls and tools, what about you?

Find a good artist to draw a rendering of what YOU want your car to look like. Then find a body man to bring it to life.

Get an extra bumper and read up on fiberglass molding if you're really curious about the process. It won't be good the first time, and probably won't be pretty, but it's fun to learn. You'll probably destroy the bumpers you learn on, but if you can find em cheap enough (look for ones that are already messed up/cracked... repairing cracks with fiberglass/filler is a good way to learn to work with the materials) then it doesn't really matter how many you go through.

That's what I would do if I were as bored as you seem to be haha

but yeah...wild and crazy was the shit back then, thank go a lot has changed...no idea where the car is now...i'm sure cracked in 1,000 places wherever it is, may of had to be scraped.

There was some guy on here about a year ago claiming he could hand make body kits from scratch. We all lol'd a bunch and then he left.

Reps to anybody who can find that thread.
