I had one my freshman year of college in 1990. I also had an 88 model Accord DX bought in 1988 and sold in 1995. Later, QD.

I had a '87 LX-i.....just put a cold air intake and exhaust on mine.

cool. I have an exhaust on mine too, but the air intake that i put on is shabby, so im gonna put another one on it. Most people just put it near the engine, but i've had some people say that doing that defeats the purpose of it being a cold air intake. So the one i have now is towards the bottom of my car. But like i said its shabby. So now i have another short intake and im just wondering if putting it at the top of my engine (by the battery) is a good or bad thing. Thanks ppl!

Mine was a short ram, not a CIA........worked fine.
