I want to thank collins for setting this up. He asked for a few runs monday night, i said sure, we met up tonight and got it taken care of. No hassle, no bullshit.

Details:
Collins GTO (with bald tires although it didnt sound like he spun much), he has an extra passenger (cameraperson) and i was by myself.


1st Video:
60mph Roll straight up. 3 Honk GO! I was in the outside lane. He just has too much power and pulls like im sitting still

Pretty much what i expected. If hes out of his powerband or up a gear i can hold him off till about 100mph than he pulls back HARD. I think if we did a straight up run 2nd gear vs 2nd gear 40mph he would put 3-4 cars on me by 110.

Definetly a fast GTO!

we didnt want to take the speed TOO high, so he was shutting down around 105-110.

The GTO definitely moves out for the mods it has. I think he ran even with some base LS3 Vettes one night.

I told collins i would be lifting around 105-110 just cause theres no point in stringing it out to 120, especially since there was light traffic on the road. I think its pretty evident how much more he would have pulled had we kept going. No need to endanger ourselves any further.

It was also just us, no chase car, no lead car, and NO ONE wants to go to jail in Cobb County :eek:

I think he ran even with some base LS3 Vettes one night. they were only ls2 vettes, but they had every mod i have, minus the heads. i think one had an underdrive pulley tho, so power levels should've been FAIRLY close. def surprised me that night tho.

You can tell in the vid the GTO was pullin back hard on the top end. Like Vteckidd said it woulda been kinda pointless to shift to 5th just to ge pulled on more.

lol @ this race. mikes old crx could keep up with my 268 rwhp. now he has a slower crx and tries to race a car that was even with my 350 rwhp. if you got that much money to waste (gas money that is), i could use a fill up. ;)

I can say he doesn't spray. There's no place for the spray. I saw most of the inside and since there isn't anything to look at, I didn't see anything. I mean I wasn't hard core Detective searching, but lifting up a few things and what not, there was nothing there. Poor Mike. So many haters.

Is this the red crx w JDM front end I saw @ tunerfest?
If so, my buddy who worked @ Nalley Honda (union city) built that car (b16)
Then, sold it. It got passed around once er twice I think, then I saw the car @ Mainstream!
I see yall swapped the front end though to another rex.

This is all pointless, I just thought it was cool seeing the car again!

Did ya guys swap the b16 into the other crx that has the jdm front now too?

I bought the car from greasemunkey in Fayetteville . I sold the b16 swap the 3rd day I owned it for the itr motor that's in it now.

The Jdm front end came from another car I also parted out.
