Last post got closed within 2 hours b/c I didn't have the VIN (so if you see any ads that don't have VIN #'s pm quickdodgeŽ, he'll make ppl follow the rules).
Make: Lexus
Model: SC300
Year:1995
Mileage:230k Body / 73k Motor
Engine: 1jzgte
VIN#: JT8JZ31C5S00255## (pm me for last 2 numbers)
Condition: 7/10
PRICE:$8000 / OBO
1995 Lexus SC300 with JDM 1jzgte twin turbo swap. 230k on chassis, 73k on motor, automatic, full power. Exterior and Interior in good shape, no tears in leather (crack around center vents and near window switches on door panels - common Lexus SC problems). Clean title.
Exterior 7/10
Interior 7/10
Drivetrain - 1997+ SC300 wheels with new tires (about 3k on them), Tein Coilovers, drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads, stock (open) rear.
Engine Bay - electric fans, Aeromotive AFPR w/braided lines, 440 injectors, aux. transmission cooler, front mount intercooler (FMIC), manual boost controller, 3 inch exhaust w/no cat.
Electronics - Apex'i SAFC II, 35W HID low beams, 55W HID high beams, LED dash lights, DynoTune Nitrous Boost Gauge, all factory displays work great (heater lcd recently changed, one RPM needle has 1/4 inch dead spot and reads about 300 RPM difference from S/AFC) . All car electronics work (windows, remote, cruise, etc..) as does A/C and heat.
Miscellaneous - Aftermarket spoiler, tinted windows, carbing plate, JDM 2.5GT-T emblem, clean engine bay, spots of clear coming off door (tried to take pic, but it doesn't show), headlights could use a good buffing (not scratched but UV coating is yellow).
Tuned - Professionally tuned using DynoJet, put down 336 HP @ 5900 and 326 TQ @ 5000 to the wheels and still get 20's for MPG's. 3 stage tune for MPG's (less than 20% throttle), stock (21%-84% throttle) and WOT (well, 85%+). Running 11lbs of boost on stock turbos, boosts quick (b/c of stock twins).
Reason for getting rid of? I'm building a 2jzgte GS300 and one car that sits in the garage not driven is enough.
$8000 / OBO (which means if you think the price is high and your interested, come take a look and shoot me an offer!).
May trade, but you know what your car is worth, I'm not trading for a $2000 car. Please no projects, trucks, bikes, or SUV's. Doesn't have to be boosted either - I have a 126 mile roundtrip commute to work!
Or will trade for Supra parts - TT 6 speed rear end/axles/driveshaft, 750+ injectors + cash.
And to be honest, with all the bs in the other SC ads, I don't care if mine's the cleanest on IA!!!
Damm man, my commute is exactly 126 miles to work too. Freaky.
Nice car. Great price.

Ever calculate how much time you waste in your car for the year? Yeah, if you haven't, don't!
Thanks everyone for the comments and luck!

I can vouch for this car and the seller, this car is well well worth the money.. also about the whole cleanest car on IA thing, the same person that did this swap did the swap on Ziptied's SC, except this swap actually has less miles and was done probably at least 5 years after ziptied's car.. this one also has a more recent paint job.. lol not trying to debate, but this car used to be mine and i almost bought ziptied's car prior when the guy that did the swap owned it.. both great cars, if your looking for a swapped SC you couldn't go wrong with either...
Jrb3 wish i had the cash man i'd love to have her back!!!

How's the emmission? you guys don't have to get emmission in SC right?
Paco - thanks man. With the GS just waiting for a tune and V160 sitting in the garage for spring, it's time for it to go.
Unlimited - no emissions in SC. The actual reason why I moved from NC to SC about 10 years ago. Yep, for a car (not this one lol).

Sounds good man, I thought about getting a 1st gen GS and swapping it, but you know how it goes with swapped/boosted cars, the upgrades never end lol, so i picked up GS430 this time hoping the v8 will keep me somewhat satisfied, of course my first two weeks owning it i did intake and exhaust lol..
sounds like your doing it big on the GS, v160 and all

would be a waste of time unless your going to a 6spd.. which is gonna $$$$$$ .. you can probably pick up a complete manual swap for $800 to $1500 for a w58 5 spd..
I've owned a automatic turbo SC, and a 5 spd SC. and i must say the boosted auto is a blast, with my w58 i was always afraid to beat on it cause the w58 doesn't take much abuse, the R154 isn't much better.. the 5spds more fun for cruising around, but for going fast, i say automatic unless you got 6 speed money..

Damn man, you go through more cars then a dealership (which I guess isn't saying much nowadays!). Thanks for helping my ad out!!!
You have any pics of the G430? My buddy has a black on black, and it cruises very, very well.
Waitin to collect some more parts for the V160 swap (clutches are stupid $$) and single (have the turbo, just need everything else). And I'm waiting on Wes to get back to me to tune while auto. Kinda sucks that it's sitting till it's tuned.

yeah i picked up a 98 GS300 before getting the 430, i liked it alot but was too tempted to boost it and do other stuff, so i figured the 430 was nice enough to leave alone.. of course i did exhaust and intake, and have suspension on the way 3 weeks into owning it lol..
I think i have this thing that i start modding a car then when i get it about where i want it i get a urge to sell it :screwy: . I just painted the red SC and spent 1200 updating the interior a month or two before i sold it.
I wish i could have picked up a black on black 430, i searched nationwide for one but everyone wanted like 13k+ for one.. so i settled for a Silver on gray that i picked up for $8900, one car owner, fully serviced at lexus for EVERYTHING :) they even bought damn tires at the dealer.
don't want to junk up your sales ad, but here's a couple links to pics

No disrespect. But I hope your kidding about that.
Stock Auto's can do no more than 450 on a good cooler.
W58 Can see 550 at best on a good clutch.

R154 can do 900 on a good clutch.

I probably worded that wrong, I shouldn't have said go fast, i should have said if you want to beat on the car with around 450hp or less..
my point was, w58's are weak as hell, yes you can hold 550hp on a w58, but your not going to be driving it hard with that much power unless you plan on replacing it.. I know a few people that have ran 800+hp on w58's, they don't shift hard and don't launch the car either..
400hp w58 vs 400hp auto 1jz trans, your gonna be able to give the auto trans alot more abuse before it shits on you..
R154's are strong then w58's but are known for first gear failure, i've seen plenty of my friends have this happen, a couple of them hardly even beat on there cars.
i'm saying to do a w58 swap on a auto 1jz isn't really worth it, you can pick up spare auto 1j trans for like $50-100 ..
your gonna spend 800 to 1500 for a w58 swap, then buy a clutch, now if you want to romp on it, probably won't last long.
to get a soarer R154 your pay even more $1500-2500, for a stronger trans that will probably have first gear go out on if you like to race.
i'm not saying it's worthless to have a boosted 5spd SC, i'm just saying i wouldn't go through the $$$$ and time to change a 1jz SC to manual unless your going v160, or you come across a steal on a 5spd.
I've owned both, so have several of my friends. if your going to make moderate power, your probably better off sticking with a auto trans, they are cheap and take a good amount of abuse..
granted if your looking to push 500+ and you want to drive hard, then your just gonna have to cough up some $$$$ for trans solution.
