This is my dads weekend warrior. LOL.
Some of you might have seen at the local tracks.
1973 Chevy Monza- Full racing chassis.
quick numbers- 436 small block, methanol injected, 720hp/ trq :thinking: weight 2200 with him in it.
Runs 5.10s on the 1/8 and 8.6 on 1/4s at 164mph. Only ran 1/4 a couple of times due to rear end.

He says this is considered his mid life crisis area. He built this thing from the ground up just about. He had a Vega wagon before this, but it didnt tickle his fancy.

Monzas rule!. I remember that guy that built the 200 MPH one to run in the Silver State. That shit was badass.

throttle response on this thing is instant and will scare you the first time you drive it lol but its fun once you get used to it soljames hasnt drove it yet but i have :yes:....might start racing it soon :D

I have a soft spot for the Vega and Monza. (and the maverick on the Ford side)
