Nice! They have vids already? I was curious if this is gonna be a add-on/expansion pack to the already existing SF4 or WHAT? I know for sure it ain't another disc-based game. But I heard it'll be $60bucks though. But all in all, it's worth it! I heard Guy is gonna be in it; hell yea imma try n master him if he has the right moves. Dee-Jay & Dudley is gonna give Balrog some dam competition! Can't wait! Yuri looks like she gonna whoop Chun-Li's ass. haha T-Hawk is a BEAST!

ign.com has the latest interview about this update. 8ish new characters, more balanced fighting system, more ultra's and air ultra's such as projectile ultra's for guile, akuma, sakura, chun-li. Will be all on a disc coming soon not for sell @ full price(hopefully 40bucks or something around there). Possible online lobby matches like they promised and a upgrade to the online system. Check it out! I hope we won't have to start all our BP/GP over. :goodjob:

I have your sig on my joystick, its the 15th anniversary edition picture. T-hawk should have stayed dead, along with dee-jay, that's why they never made it back into the series. Dudley only made it in streetfighter 3 series like double impact and third strike. If they was to bring them all back, they mine as well bring the streetfighter EX characters back, like c. jack, skullamania, etc. These characters died off for a reason.
Its dated for release in spring 2010, and you will have to buy it so no DLC. There is only 3 def. characters as of right now which are juri (new korean player), t-hawk (super sf2), deejay (super sf2). The remaining lineup included guy (alpha series), ibuki (sf3 series), kairi (sp? she's from alpha 3), but these players are not definite yet. Out of all of them, Juri seems to be promising as a new rising player, other than that, t-hawk and deejay are worthless. Their moves don't have as much priority as the current line up or effectiveness. The new game is suppose to be more "balanced" which I hope is true, because currently sagat is about 20-30% stronger than any other player, same goes for zangief. Plus gouken, seth, and gouki are damn near broken.
I guess you just have to go to tournaments like I do to understand. Anyways, any G1 or SG ranked players wanna play? holla at me on xbox live sn is krucialteg.

G1 right here and it ain't easy passing up these dudes. Sorry but Im with PSN all day everyday. Adon & Guy are who I wanna try when they come out. Gat is my my primary; Guile is my sub. Guile is a very hard guy to be high level with. I can't do his Jump in HK, crouching mp, flash kick into double flash kick perfectly. One hard fighter to master!

the jumping h. kick, mp, flash kick, super is just a normal cancel. For example, ryu's or ken uppercut into let's say ryu's super, you would start with the z motion (for the uppercut) and go into the fireball motion (down forward) and hit punch twice, any punch is a given. So for guile, as the mp hits, you are already holding down for the charge or down back, the moment you hit up+k for his flash kick, you automatically hit down/down back and up/forward kick for the cancel....hope that made sense.
More advance tactics would be to focus cancel after the first flash kit, so it would go j. hk, d+mp, flash kick, fadc (focus attack dash cancel), super. If you timed it right, you can pull out the ultra immediately after the super connects. Or just do the ultra instead of the super. The Low kick flash kick is your best bet because it keeps the opponent in the air long enough with you already on the ground to do the super or ultra.
joystick is the easiest way of doing this. I have a euro-ill stick with happ buttons so pulling it off isn't an issue.

That's exactly how I've been doing it; I just gotta remember to do it as smoothly so it can work in one try. About the Flash kick fadc into super or ultra. That seems like a lot of work but it is also similiar to balrogs headbutt into super/ultra. It's doable but remembering to do these moves during a real fight is hard. :goodjob: Everytime I use Guile, I forget to do his combos. :???:

My main player is ryu, and cammy is my back up. I always fadc in almost every close-up situation so I guess the cancel comes to me as a reaction, so remembering is not the issue, I rather lose 2 bars to cancel instead of getting punished from a blocked uppercut. If you do it enough, its automatically just comes to you.
But yes, its similar to balrogs headbut in an example.

I'll admit, I have no life. Either I'm at work or playing sf4, in between those I eat alot. Sleeping is not a factor because by the time I finish playing sf4, it's time to go back to work lol.
And are you going to leave mvc2 anytime soon to come back to sf4?

Yea, FADC is a natural to me too. It feels like a instinct feeling telling me when to use it but of course a fighter wouldn't fully complete his attempted combo if the rival blocked it all, right? haha But yea, can't seem to do *dash active* supers/ultra's yet. That shiet's too hard; you gotta be flash to do that and I still use a controller. ;)

apparently its not gonna be priced at $60.
their reasoning behind it was having people pay $60 for basically the same game with new moves and chars is stupid.
so far we don't know the price, but its going to be under $60. approx $30.
got some awesome gameplay footage at gamestop

Even with the new characters and moves or the so called balancing out of the game, Daigo Umehara will still dominate everyone in the damn world with Ryu.... Sad, but its true, the mans ryu is damn near unbreakable. He just won EVO2K9 for sf4, if you know anything about gaming, then EVO is where its at. Capcom and gamestop even gave him all paid expenses and VIP status this year.
Same outcome as gamestop national, it came down to justin wong and daigo again, and of course daigo took it home.

Yea, Diago is a beast. He's not 100% unbeatable though; although I would still bet my money on him. Mago(Best Sagat player) beat him once on a video on youtube but it wasn't Evo of course. One thing I noticed between these pro players is this....
*They rarely do any forward jumping,
*You have to be a expert fireball shooter
*And they barely do none to minimal throws that's because they're too busy zoning each other.
*Strictly ground combat especially when fighting Diago.
*Must not make one mistake(no unnecessary moves).
For Diago's sake, his time will come :D. I'm sure someone out there is beyond high level but just never attends the tournaments.
My:2cents:

excellent observation man, you are 100% correct on all of those. Yes mago did beat him a few rounds, but in the end daigo still took it home. Same at EVO2K9, daigo had a money match with Marn (c.viper), marn won like 4 or 5 games, but daigo still took the money in the end. The man can be beaten, but in the end, he will take it home.
As far as I know, justin wong is still U.S. raining champion in almost every capcom fighting game minus sf3 third strike, sanford kelly (aka santhrax)is ranked #4 in the entire world for marvel vs capcom 2, and Daigo Umehara is World champion in sf3 third strike and sf4, capcom handed him the title for that.
