Okay so all of a sudden my computer has been running slow, I ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware in safe mode and in normal mode, but nothing came up. Any know what else I can do to speed up my computer because it just recently started going slow.

download smitfraud and run it in safe mode, then run malware bytes. Also try superanti spyware if you can find it, and Ad-Aware

Yeah I can "find" them :ninja: lol. Run all those in Smart Mode in that order? (Smitfraud, malwarebyts, superantispyware, and then ad-aware)?

smitfraud def first anything else doesn't matter
p.s. i would run the new programs first just in case malware bytes was compromised

The built in WinXP defragger sucks but the Vista one is good. If you don't mind poking around in your registry I can tell you a way you can make Windows start up faster. Extra RAM helps too.

Gone are the days where i can defrag b/c i'm running a SSD. I think i'm suppose to run some sort of wiper tool from the reading i'm gathering. SSD does rock...though.

Ram really does help up. My buddies boss upgraded his ram in a laptop to 2gig and it ran much smoother.
