the 2jay $1800
r154 tranny $500
swap kit(cross member, tranny cross member, drive shaft, mounts and brackets, shifter extention, ect) $1700 shipped
1jz bellhousing $300
waterpump $130
pulley kit $150 or so
wiring $500
and a few others, so basically ive spent alittle over 5k on stuff i need! but you can always go cheaper but getting kits from cheaper ppl or looking for used parts and junkyard! ive just done all mine with tech2 in cali cuz they do great work but can be alittle expensive at times! but check them out at Tech2motorsports.com and you get a better idea of what you need and how much it will cost you to do the swap! :goodjob:

800hp is possible.... u can run that on stock bottom with good tuning! but im looking at 400-500hp just for drifting. but definetly do it bro! i cant wait to see it im a 2jz whore!:idb:

I will be posting more pics tonite I spent all day yesterday welding and Shaving some more of my engine bay. I will finish the bondo work today and start painting it tomorrow. I'm gonna checker board the whole engine bay like the spark plug cover on my 2jay. So that should be interesting.the last thing I'm waiting on is my custom harness to drop the motor cuz I'm going to wire tuck it. So lookin at droppin the motor soon. yea been kinda of busy.. but here is a short update.. ive gotten in everything i need to drop the motor but the harness.. i was susposed to be dropping the motor next week but has been posponed due to ignorate ppl working on my harness(should have done it myself) but i got my us spec water pump on and my x-member and mounts...ect so should be dropping it hopefull before november....

ive been bonding my bay and finally finished last night, i started painting it today.. here is a before and after..

not to much more has been done... im missin my shift linkage from tech2motorsports in cali they claimed they shippid it but i dont have it so until that problem is fixed i cant get my harness done,, so im really frustrade cuz im behind schedule.. but ive gotten my motor fully assembled now,, water pump,, surpentine belt, crank pully...ect

well im definetly an engine bay neat freek.... a clean paint job in the engine bay to match the vc would give it a nice look and it would be quick and easy.. and removing the intake manifold and cleaning it and coat it with a nice oem grey like mine would definetly be nice once the motor is in.. its kinda boring to see the same ol dull green vc with a dirty bay on most of the swaps ive seen.. but just a a suggestion if thats what ur looking for:goodjob:
