What do you want to do with an old school car reasonably. This means in your price range, realistically what would you like to do?

I plan on getting another Porsche 914 and swapping a 12A into it. I loved my 914 but the engine was just shit, I love rotary engines, so why not!?

I plan on rebuilding a L20 just stock, and Attempt to put a KA transmission in there. Then carpet, Maybe a radio, and after all that paint.

Taking my current car, ironing out the accel enrichments, putting a nice ball bearing turbo on it and tweaking a few other areas. Bigger Brake calipers, braided lines, some nice R compounds. Then taking it to every road course or autocross event in a 200 mile drive :)

lol and hopefully this will happen in the next few months.

Well, I PLAN on painting the truck, lowering is more, camming the engine and resealing it......
What will most likely happen is that I will leave it the exact way it is, drive it and sell it. :D

Going straight up stock with mine with a few Japanese stock items (fender mirrors, glass black wheel) with a lowered stance. An Atlanta area Honda dealer told earlier this year that he'd like to display it on occasion at the dealership. Later, QD.

I think the Thunderbird on hyrdo's would be neat, although I would approach the Belair alittle differently. haha.

I just want to finish off all of the handling items. Previous owner started with some great hardware for the engine, so I just decided to finish where he left off rather than start with suspension like the car should have. Now that the engine's pretty much as built as a stock 6 port can be while remaining N/A, I'm going to throw on some Tokiko Illumina 5 way adjustable shocks, Re-speed adjustable coil perches (coil overs for cars with a live rear axle), Re-speed camber caster plates, sway bars, strut bar, and if I ever get the money rack-and-pinion steering conversion.

A 914 with a 12A will be interesting but any reason you're not going 13B? 12A housings got discontinued this year so the rest of the supporting market will wind its way down.

I'd love to get a cam (with supporting mods), set of webers, header, and paint on the corolla.

The plans for the '62 Falcon are bored out 200 inline six, Durapspark II electronic ignition, header, 2 1/2" exhaust, 4 on the floor (toploader 3speed with OD), convert to cable clutch, changing the car from 4 lug to 5 lug, 11" disc brakes on the front, 8" rear end, 14 x 7 powder-coated steelies, replace suspension bushings, V8 suspension and steering linkage and control arm geometry changed so Shelby spec, replace floorpans, replace cracked windshield.

After I get the drivetrain and bodywork done, I'll probably do the "Hondatech $50 paint job". And then when I have the funds I'll get posi, an aluminum head, and a 4 barrel for the inline six.

I've already got half of this stuff done, just saving for the rest of the parts to get the suspension together.

For the 79 carpet, dashpad, bodywork, paint. Its got the 3K-c and K40 4spd in it which I want to keep original like it is now. The 80 wagon is getting stripped of all the parts I can use for the 81 then going off to the scrapyard. The 81 sedan is getting a Ford 2.3 T with T-5 and an 8.8 rear with 4.10s , megasquirt ECU and some other supporting mods(safety first). The engine and trans out of both cars is spoken for. I am planning on picking up a first gen Celica fastback and putting the 3T-c from the 81 in it and giving it to my mom.

73 911 rs replica, no stereo, midly custom, very clean low key kind of appearance. Something that I can keep for a long time. I'm never really happy with any of the cars I've built so I won't start this one until I have the cash to do it right. After that maybe a 510.

I'm looking to get a cheap foreclosure house which qualifies me for a $9800 tax credit. And since I make so little i'll get a check for the whole $9800 since I don't really owe any tax. And get myself a Kenmeri skyline.. then still be broke :)
