I had the privilege of cleaning this BMW for a member on here (ill let him reveal himself if he wants to.)

The car came in pretty good shape to begin with, random scratches here and there.

Started with a wash using Meguiars m62 wash. It didnt need a clay baring, so it went straight to polish. I started out using megs #83 on a 8006 pad, followed up with meguiars #7 Show car glaze, topped with s100 wax, and then a final layer of collinite 476s.

Interior had the front seats soaked with Leatherique Rejuvinating oil then cleaned with Leatherique Prestine Clean and the rear seats cleaned with Lexol. Carpet was vacuumed, mats cleaned with extractor using a Mix of Meguiars APC and water. After they dried, they were covered with Dealers carpet plastic except for the drivers, because wet feet need to be dried before driving. Dash was wiped down, then dressed with Megs Natural Shine protectant.

Finally the engine was wiped down with Meguiars APC and dressed with Meguiars Hyper Dressing reduced to about 7 or 8 to one.

Great work on one of the sexiest cars ever produced. I gotta post up the pictures I have of the original one from the 1987 N.Y.C auto show.
