Pictures of people back in the day with their cars and a picture of each person with that same car now (around 2007). The one down in the list with the entire family is really cool. Later, QD.

Dang. Thats so freaking cool. I would love to see this on IA.
First pic of car.
:20 years later:
Second pic of car, 2134234 rim changes later.
What's seriously amazing though is the apparent pristine condition that some of those cars are in. If more folks could act like those people, we wouldn't have found ours selves in this credit-driven recession.

Oh man it's been at least 15 years since I saw this cars....
Car in pictures 1 & 3 are Fiat 500s A.K.A. Topolinos
Those cars where fast on the road course back in the day, welded rims were a must and re-worked fenders to fit the wide race tires make the car look awesome, a full size go-kart.
and the one on picture 6 & 7 are Renult 4 I never could drive one of those... the freaking shifter comes straight out of the dashboard LOL

I should get my dad to do that with his 914. He drove it off the showroom floor in '74.

THAT is true love for a vehicle. We think we LOVE ours, but a few years and then it's for sale. We are missing the whole ship really even though we "think" we love our cars. I think we just "like" our cars. Great find.
