Yeah I have it upright, but the shit is, if you read the xbox shit, microsoft says to keep it vertical for best heat dissipation

well then theres ur problem. lay it flat and make sure it has space and you will be fine. ive never had any heat problems with my xbox and i know ive gone about 6+ on that damn console. and who the hell reads those things that come with the console. its like reading directions on how to put something together, guys just take the parts and put them together

Actually the RRoD is caused by a overheating in the chipset/motherboard. THats why when you send a XboX in and it comes back with a little piece of paper saying how to stop this from happening. Thats what it means.

i like to carry a sniper rifle and a machine gun so i can play both ways. depending on the spot, i will milk as many kills as possible out of it and stay cautious as to who is coming up and try to knife me.

i snipe till i die. basically i snipe in one positions fending off as many as i can and if i die i die. i use the w2000 (the plywood lookin sniper) and the m93 raffika (3 shot burst pistol) and claymore (i HATE how you only get 1 claymore)

I have a 1.56 KDratio with 13% accuracy lol, i dont really aim down the sites that often i usually spray and pray and strafe duck and dive the shit out of them so they cant hit me. It works all the time, but if they are far away obviously i would aim down the sites.

I don't normally snipe but when i do i use the ACOG scope on the w2000 thing and run around. I like the inventor sniper rifle with the ACOG also. shits a beast, just like the m40 sniper rifle in COD4.

thats exactly how i feel, sniping is boring, BUT with the acog it gives you the ability to run up on people and quick scope. but I noticed the Famas is just as bad as the M16. I haven't used the m16 yet but I was in an argument with someone claiming they were the shit and trying to say that it didnt matter what gun they were using. I went 15 - 12 with an M4 and told the guy I'll pull out the stock Famas and show him it really makes a different. Then I went 22 - 3 Run & Gun lol. I try not to use the cheap guns. I mainly use the a Bling TAR with Red Dot and Silencer.

And fuck a camper, they will usually miss or not hit me enough to kill me so I keep their attention and wait for them to use the rest of their clip and shit on their face during their reload. I just hate the people that window camp in the level with the chickens. Theres not much you can do there unless you manage to get your aim up faster than theirs

Oh hell yeah the chickens get me all the damn time. Especially when I try to sneak around the other team and as soon as i turn the corner I see something moving and makes me think its someonee.

As far as guns basically I just use different guns depending on the maps. I havent got to the highest level to unlock everything yet but I am actually pretty satisfied with the guns I have and using now. Always use red dot sight on all my guns. Using p90, Barret 50 Cal., m4, TAR, and my last class its just any gun i just really use the last class to test out new guns and see if i like em. it does seem like they made the barret a bit weaker though.

i love highrise, go to the left of the map where the big ass gas tank is on a little building, climb the ladder, jump across to the crane and follow it to get to the top of the building. It looks like you couldn't make it but make sure you press X when you jump and hit the ledge to pull yourself up. and just snipe from there you can see both spawns from that point.

i usually go up there, but i thought you couldnt get past the platform at the end of that upward tilted crane. i usually lay dwon up there and snipe folks coming from down the ally, but get knifed soon after.

naw if you get on the 1st platform thing you can jump across to the long ass platform, and then follow that to the building. you can see a little window you can jump into and snipe from there. theres a little ledge on the building that you can barely stand on but it gets you across. but you gotta do it quick bc while in the transistion to get to that building you can be seen from everywhere bc you are high up lol.


also if you hate getting sniped and picked off on the top of the map, you can go under the map and take people out that are crossing, or sneak into the other teams spawn and get them from there.

If I have to use the m16? I didn't unlock it until level 40 so I wouldn't say I HAVE to. I choose to. And I have a 1.71 k/d and rising. with 2500+ kills

I have used that re-spawn perk to see how it works. The first time I used it I was ambushed by 3. Dropped it immediately and was re-spawned right behind the guys who killed me and was able to tap em all with the tar. That was the only time it came in handy for me. I prefer my grenade.

I like the chopper gunner way more than the AC. The AC is cool but its so short. I got 16 kills with the CG one time. The way it swings around the map you can get people pretty much from any angle

Nah you only get points when you play online. Try playing Domination, you get WAY more points doing that. You just need to concentrate more on flag capturing than killing.

that works too...I just finished off the M4 yesterday. What I like is how it keeps bumping up the amount of kills you need to get with the weapon to get 10,000 points....so i ranked up at a pretty decent speed considering I dont play 24/7 like some of the children I see on there do.

Yeah i do a little bit better with the CG than the AC 130. The AC 130 does sound like a beast though. You can hear the missles and you know they are comming. but as far as leveling up i mean im not that high but i just play with a couple of people and eventually it gets higher.

i mostly play HC team death match or normal team deathmatch and i'm level 52 as of last night. My technique i guess is I use one gun until all the challenges are done, then use a different gun. To finish the marksman challenges for each gun you gotta get 1000 kills with it. Plus using the attachment challenges are good too. headshots ehhh i never really finish them. but I may when i finish doing all the guns. I have only finished all the challenges on 2 guns. (the M4 and the Scar, working on my UMP .45 and ACR next I stopped using the m16 bc it got too boring and will probably do that last)

I mainly focus on the primary guns not so much the secondary. But i'm also not saying dont work on them, bc i have red dots/silencers on a couple. mainly the machine pistols and hand guns.

probably not to well seeing as they are what 149.99 and if you look at hunter NVG and stuff a cheap pair is around 300-400. and a decent pair is up in the 500range.

ive gotten 3 stars in one of the echo ones, the very last one where you have to kill 15 juggernauts (sp). It seems to me the the second to last echo one will be the hardest one where you have to kill ten juggernauts(sp) using only explosives, that shits hard as fuck!

I honestly wouldn't waste my money on a $500 set of gen 2 NVG's. They would most likely be made in taiwan and probably not true gen 2's... Hell even at $1000 you will have a hard time getting a good set.

The barret .50 cal sniper rifle FUCKS them up, also, flashbangs stun them long enough to reload or catch a few shots on them.



I only have two missions left to get three stars on now, one of them is to kill ten juggernauts and I cant remember the name of the other one. I really dont see how the hell I will ever be able to kill ten juggernauts with that crappy grenade launcher and a flippen RPG. The other one I have left is one of the Delta ones that I just skipped over so I dont see it giving me too much trouble.

I hate the tar lol. I love the m4a1/ACR/Scar/f2000 the other assault rifles aren't that great they have recoil like an smg.

I used to like the ACR until i realized it had no damage so even with stopping power it take 30 bullets to kill someone.. i find if im falling behind in a match i have a backup class with the SCAR/Stopping Power/FMJ that works wonder.

My prefered gun now is the RPD, haha.. i was getting 2 bullet headshot kills from across the map on Wasteland on people trying to snipe me, it was hilarious. I maxed out the AUG HBAR, and the M240 has no damage.

So I got the ak47 finally and then I prestiged lol.

In COD4 you had to get all the expert challenges for ALL the assault rifles before you got the gold AK. Completing the expert challenges for a single assault rifle just gets you the Fall camo, nothing special.

You still have to aim as with any other weapon and the person you are shooting can dodge it just like anything else if they are fast enough.

The FAL is full of win. Especially when paired with a grenade launcher attachment, and the thumper as the secondary. That, plus the resupply, unltd. runnning, and extra explosion damage, it's full of kills, too.

How do you figure? The M16 in this game is nowhere near like it was in COD4. The famas has taken it's place as the burst spray and pray. You have to actually aim the M16. I also use the ACR, but it is weaker and less accurate. My favorite is the WA2000 with Acog for hardcore. And no, I don't camp in corners, I run and gun. I'm also pretty deadly with akimbo M93's. I fire only one side until it is out then fire the other while the first reloads since the game will let you reload one while firing the other.

How did you beat the second to last one where you have to kill ten juggernauts using only explosives and a knife? Its the only one I havent beaten on three stars and so far I have only been able to kill 3 of the ten juggernauts and then they start coming two at a time.

I think they concentrated more on the online part of the game than anything else since thats what most people do. Get online....i bet your opinion changes :goodjob:

they made MW2 for the online game play. thats why there is so much extra stuff. they only made the campaign for people that dont have onliine gameplay.

The rocket glitch is where somebody has their rocket out, and then holds some buttons or something in a way that they can sprint around and knife people, but when they are killed, they shoot a rocket off and it explodes, killing everybody in a pretty decent radius.

so i found a glitch last night on Highrise. you can get on the other roof. but this time ontop of the whole building not just a little room like the other side. ok go to the opposite side of the building where you can get in the room ontop. if you look to the left there will be a vertically hanging platform where one of the wires is cut and its just hanging vertically. you can jump across and cling onto the side of it, it acts like a ladder climb up that follow the ledge of the wall to the next platform that acts like a ramp climb up and just across to the open ledge onto the roof.
