What is this "tire drama" they speak of? I watched it at least three times but I couldn't catch what went wrong.

You can hear Craig say the "Front right tire let go" at 1:44

Ahh looks like I was paying attention to the wrong part. So did it lock up or start slipping? I just noticed a small bit of mist or smoke when I watched it again.

I can only imagine the joy the Holden driver felt. Wow.

Just more reason to want to see the season highlight and the highlight of world touring car racing when the Bathurst 1000 hits hard in OCT.

Just watch lap 1 last year to see why this race is so vital to motorsport. I made a thread last year but surly wont have the time this year.

V8 Supercars is what NASCAR could be if they ever got their heads out the asses. In addition I love the helicopter cam they use in some of the races. It's such a great view watching them track the cars.

Talking about that view down Conrod straight? I get hyped up.

Most definitely. I've seen it used a few times. I always wondered why other sports don't adapt some kind of motion camera. With the budgets in F1 they should be able to afford something similar, especially on their larger tracks.

On occasion i've seen a camera that runs on cables to chase the cars down the straight or in the pits. I know Bathurst has one.
