both pcs are utilzing charter broadband and we both have logitic wireless keyboards and mouses. and 21 in monitors

looks good alex, but you need some skills in wire management. Then it will look real nice.

just easier access to programs, and some run other complete o.s.'s...kinda hard to do that off a CD or just one or two hard drives...and i figured "why not".....unless you want to come over and hand me a different CD every 30 minutes...lol

Speedminded... where do you work... I was just wondering cause that looks like autocad???very perceptive :) ...i've been using AutoCAD since R13 (also used Generic Cadd for a couple years which was the DOS version of AutoCAD before AutoDesk bought them out) and we have 2005 but mainly use 2000. I used to do ALL the store planning for Friedman's Jeweler's until they pretty much went under and eventually couldn't pay the company I worked for (we also built all of Wolf Camera for 30 years until they went under owing us about $6 million and there was no way we'd survive another client going chapter 11) I left there and went to a company who is based in Buckhead [working for the actual company instead of the general contractor now] and we have 4 store planners (Friedman's had the same amount of stores/growth but I was the only one designing them).

I've had 2000 since it came out if you want/need a copy.

Nah... I work for an architect and just noticed it. It's all new to me still... Our biggest clients right now are Napa and Home Depot... The company I am with started out really small about 4 years ago and is still growing to this day. It's a lot of fun. Sorry I was just curious...
What are you doing there silver?

Pretty much help everyone out right now... and the receptionist... They are in the process of teaching me how to use Autocad so I can do that eventually. Oh, you can call me Heather BTW

Oh ok Heather, mines Matt. I am using Architectural Desktop at work and I am still picking it back up. Last time I used it before this job was Autocad 9 I think :dunno: so I am still trying to remember it and pick it up.

Sorry I was just curious...that's interesting, i know someone who worked for the company that did Home Depot...up until about 4 or 5 months ago anyways when she left them to come work with us. I'll ask her about it.

If you have any questions feel free to ask...i still don't know ALL of AutoCAD but i've been using it for 9 years now and CAD programs in general since I was 13. I've picked up a little since then.
