Who can find me more pics of this car? Is it a '69 Mach 1? I find a few features intriguing to say the least, particularly that lower "vent"...

Model dude needs to get out of the way. That's his car. It was a photo documentary of L.A. car owners, just a bunch of 60-70's muscles cars all with similar style shots.

Yeah thats why i was saying a nicely modded one. From this distance he got rid of dam near every aspect of a Mach, and made it look almost like a GT500.

To each their own, but I've never seen one that style that looks good to me. I worked on one a few years back and those front fenders are like 6' long!

true that. These are terrible. I didn't like any of the body styles from 70-78. I became a fan of the 4 eyed models about 5 years ago or so but I still haven't grown to like anything from 70-78.

Wrong. That bodystyle also came in the King Cobra model with the V8. I'd love to have one of those but they are ultra rare and pretty high if you do happen across one in good shape. Small, somewhat light, already set up for a V8. Gimmie gimmie.

I do like the compactness of this generation though.I bet you I could make one look good. Flare the fenders some and set it down on some watanabi's with the stance of a early model modded Skyline. Remove the bumpers and put some sort of lower spoiler/lip on it. Add a rear spoiler like the 80's model NASCAR. Anything has potential with the right eye...

The Aston Martin Vantage in the mid to late 70's reminded me of mustangs somewhat, it's like 2nd gen mustang meets 240z...there is potential with them.

Yeah apparently there were 3 engine options.
2.3L 4cyl with 88hp
2.8L V6 with 105hp
5.0L V8 with 140hp.

Now that's hot! :goodjob:I mean, you take a early model 2nd gen mustang, put a forward opening hood scoop on it then put a pair of driving lights in front of the grill or a little lower. I'm sure glides or ej25 or somebody has an idea for a period correct lower valence similiar to the one in the picture, I looked up Jaguar XKS's but didn't find any thing appealing. Drop it down on wide wire wheels or Watanabi's or BBS RS's...stance is everything. Gurney flap on the rear deck. Maybe even side exit pipes with the heat shield. I know it's possible to get a mean looking one because it's in my head lol! Just need an investor or someone that can draw like Chip Foose to get it out

*edit*

The King Cobra valence is perfect if the bumper is shaved. I think the main problem with this model Mustang is the wheel wells are so freaking small compared to the car. It has the proportions of the A-Team van. If they were enlarged and flared then a slightly larger wheel/tire was put on and the car dropped it would look infinitely better.

This my personal favorite of all Mach 1.

But to the OP pictures. I would say it was a 302 fast back and then dropped and built. Probably not a Mach 1. It looks like it has some rear wide body work done. But its clean regardless.

BULLSHIT!

Original Mach 1 was the best mustang of that time, followed by both editions of the boss, then the 64-66 coupes!

same thing I was thinking, if someone could produce such a clean one as the OP, they would be smart enough to just use a basic fast back and covert. Even though the OP one is more a GT500 style, no one in there right mind would turn a original Mach into a GT500 style car!

The Kemp Cobra II is ok but still ugly imo.
