so i should be getting a package today, but i will be at school all day. does fedex require a signature for delivery? or do they just leave the package there? im just curious cause i have been waiting for the package all damn week and i dont want them to not leave it cause im not there.

The trackign should say signature required, if it doesnt they will leave it on your doorstep. If anything call up Fed Ex and they can tell you for sure or you can leave special instructions for drop off.

there's this website. www.fedex.com it contains fedex's phone number. you can actually CALL that phone number and speak with an actual PERSON, and have this question answered by a fedex customer service "professional". It's pretty freakin cool. you should try it.

Look if you have a carport, or garage they can slide it under, they will leave it. If you don't have either they wiil leave a cardslip.

It all depends on if they (sender) selected (Direct Signature Required).

To answer your initial question NO. signature is NOT the default option. The Default would be to leave it by your garage or door.
