I don't think that was a P&M vette at the end and it certainly wasn't the GT1 car.

It wasn't, I don't even think it was in the same class as the GTR lol.
EDIT:
That Vette was a GT3 Vette, so much slower class lol. The GTR finished that race in 11th overall and 11th/13 in GT1. Losing to the GT1 Vette of Luc Alphand Aventures, sorry to bust the thread. :(

I'll have to clear this up. There is too much misinformation.
For starters, the #150 Vette was not built by Pratt and Miller.
It is a Callaway Z06R GT3 and was contesting the G3 class (A class slower than GT3 so obviously slower than GT1 and GT2)
Also, it was the slowest car that day, so i'm assuming this chassis is a few years old and bought from a former team to be run by amateurs.

Last...Calling the P&M Vette Old is jumping the gun a bit.
Just this year and only counting the very important events, the P&M C6.R girl won the...
1. 2009 Le Mans 24 Hour GT1 class (Corvette Racing)
2. 2009 Sebring 12 Hour GT1 class (Corvette Racing ALMS)
3. 2009 Spa 24 Hour GT1 class (PK Carsport FIA GT)
4. 2009 1000k of Spa (Luc Alphand Aventures ELMS)
And, lets not forget that Luc Alphand also took the 2009 LMS GT1 championship in Silverstone. That is no "old" feat.
To finish, I'd like for this section to be as accurate as possible. Please check your info and sources before posting. I'm very excited about the Nissan GT1 car but it is too early in its life to be compared with the master of GT racing for this decade.

I wouldn't count on that engine staying too long. I'd bet Nissan will bring the VR38 back once they get it reliable in a race environment. The chassis development can mover quickly but blowing up motors kills your development time more.

Can you tell me where you read this? I'm also trying to find the forced induction displacement limit.
I skimmed through the 2010 regs but did not see it.

I would rather see the production engines in all of the cars, but I know the restrictions on turbo cars is so great that most chose the v8. Destroke the 5.6 and rev to infinity, lol.
