so is it stock engine or what?
that seems steep for a car with no soft top, needing paint, and most of hte interior pieces

no its not the stock motor.

you are right, however i have 1500 in the suspension and 500 in the brakes, not to mention the fresh rebuild on the motor, and the relatively new 300 dollar clutch. hardtops sell for 800+ where you can pick up a soft top for 200 easily. i don't expect to get all that cash back out of it, but you will be very hard pressed to find a miata with those kind of mods for the price i'm selling mine. the car certainly isn't for the person looking for luxory, but if you want a driver's car, this one is up your alley.
