I stumbled across your forum while looking for help on my car. It looks like a great place with lots of knowledgeable people. I look forward to contributing!
My rides:
88 honda civic lx
89 bmw 325ic
96 honda shadow 1100
So far on the lx I've done the following in the last week:
Fuel filter/pump
Axles
flushed rad
replaced all fluids
new plugs/wires
brake pads/shoes
rotors
wheel cylinders
new 195/60/14 tires
Still trying to sort out a fuel problem though. From first start it idles around 800-900 rpm pretty steady but eventually it drops to 400-500 rpm. If at any point when it is idling higher if I touch the pedal it will drop back down to 400-500. A lot of times it bogs down if I just floor it. I have to pump it a bit to build rpms. I hope its okay to ask for suggestions on a first post! Hell I only paid $150.00 for the car and just trying to bring her back to life!
