Anyone catch this last night? I actually watched it and thought it was pretty good. He basically just kept his same formats and everything and dropped it down to a 10pm airtime. He did a fake interview with Obama, Headlines and the other bits that he did on the Tonight Show. Later, QD.

Yes on the T. Swift subject. Wow, Kanye basically was silent for like 15 seconds after Leno asked him a question on it. Then he simply said he was sorry and what not. He basically came out and said what a fool he was. Jay's interview w/ Seinfeld was hilarious.. especially when Seinfeld's voice cracked Leno goes WOAH lost some testorone their for a second eh lol.

I liked that, too. Even my wife enjoyed that part and she hates Seinfeld. I also thought the "interview" with Obama was funny. Later, QD.

Thats cool it was good but I don't get why he left the tonite show? Especially if he is doing the same basic show just at another time.

His contract was up this year and Conan O'Brien was already penciled in to be the replacement (this happened a while back). NBC didn't want to lose Leno to another network because he kept them on top during his tenure. So they gave him another show in the earlier time slot to keep on board. Later, QD.

I watched and i thought its great. I kind of like it better than his tonight show. Seems to flow faster and keeps me interested. I like how he organized his segments instead of following his old format of Monologue, skits, interviews, and performances. I really hate the tonight show now. I just dont get Conans humor. The year 3000 is sometimes funny though

Jay Leno should have been used to host Top Gear: USA, since that was going to be on NBC. He would have been the perfect host.

I doubt they would have paid him what he wanted.
