well i just got my s4 about a month ago and today on the way to work i was on the high way and stepped on it to get up to 75mph but it didn't feel the power (http://audiforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1127631#) i usually do when i step on the gas. so i got scared pulled over on the next exit and poped the hood open to see what could be the problem be. all the hoses seemed to be connected right , i didnt see no black smoke and i didnt smell any gas .
what do you guys think the problem is. my only 2 guesses are boost leak or the after market diverter valves that came on the car may not be working the way they should.
any help will be repped

do u have a boost gauge? if there was a boost/vacuum leak you would be able to see it. also if it was super humid( as it has been latley) the car will feel a bit more sluggish then normal.

hmmmm didnt think about that but im gonna do the test any way you know just to be sure and im planing on ordering silicone hose kit since the factory hoses dont hold up well after 10 psi on my car.

They are cheap and well worth the money :) That, oil pressure and a wideband are always big help on a turbo car.

I use the Innovate LC-1 wideband in my personal car and the Innovate LM-1 when tuning (it is portable and can go from car to car). The LC-1 is only like $160 and a little more to get a gauge to display it. With that you can datalog, do real time monitoring and output it to a gauge. Definitely worth the money for any turbo set up.

The best way to do a boost leak is the tennis ball trick with 15 psi from a air compressor.
Read about it on the vortex.
or pm me.
