This car is in excellent condition. It was imported straight from Japan. This is not a kit car, conversion, or any other sort of fake S15. This is a 100% real, genuine '99 Silvia Spec-R. This is the top of the line S-chassis ever made. The car drives very well and pulls very strong. It has never been molsted with mods (other than the exhaust) so it is perfect for a new owner to do as they wish. The car is sold without a US title. Japanese deregistration papers will come with the vehicle. The car is stored in a garage and never driven.

you cant. You can try and do a state title, but the way things are going right now , the FEDs are watching that very closely.

Your best bet is to Vin Swap it, also illegal, but less likely to get caught.

No S15 can ever be FEDERALLY LEGAL

oh and State Titled ones ive seen go for $30,000 so Charles is asking a really good deal. Most SPEC-Rs ive looked at were in the $25,000 range and not nearly this clean (with no title)

This cat who lives near me has a white type s as a DD. Havnt looked at the dash to see if it's a swap or not but it sure is clean and vanity taged. Any one know current Georgia rebuilt or kit car guidlines? I see shelby cobra kits all over town and have heard of some folks goin that route. Even C-Lo rides around in a flashy kit car every once n a while. This is by far the cleanest 15 I've seen. GLWS

Yeah, it's a swap.... Nissan had a little booth in the corner of their factory where they underpaid Chinese laborers to hack LHD systems to some cars.

Kit cars, like the Shelby Cobra, come with documentation to provide status when getting a title. Doing a 240 VIN swap, like Mike said, is about the "safest" way to go...but there are downsides to that. Like insurance, for example, it'll be easy to insure a 95 240SX, but think of how little money you would get if you ever make a claim unless you add $20,000 of extra insurance to the policy.

Japan-partner.com can source jdm cars as well as LHD R34 skyline,carolla conversions for export. Usedjdm.com makes me cry at the used car prices they have. 6g's and under for an S15 type S. 10g's for an S15 Varietta convertable. Wish I new a Savannah Ga importer. Fly to Jpan, strip em, import as parts, lego em back together and make a pretty penny. Or do the same with all the nice rides you can find in Canada. For off road use only of coarse.

Definately a cool car. I can't see paying that much for it though. I understand the reasoning for the price but I stick with my previous statement.
