Altezza Lights Opinion

I am indecisive on my tail lights. I dont like the stock ones and the euro Altezza ones i just got stick out to much specially on my black Ej1. Now i have ppl telling me they are gay and don't use Altezza. What do yall think about them cause i am looking at a set of black ones ?

Without going down the "JDM only" route, I would seriously consider NOT getting Altezza tailights. The build quality of those things is usually pretty cheap when compared to OEM. They also look like ass.

There are a lot of other tailight things you can do that might be a better use of your monies.

Yea, I agree IF you really must go the altezza route. Atleast these look like a cross of both oem & altezza

Yeah it was the Japanese Toyota Altezza that first came with them in Japan.

I lol everytime I see a car with them, they belong on IS300's and Altezza's, and even OEM they are rice now. I'd rather have no tail lights and get rear ended or ticketed every 2 miles then have Altezza's that scream I LOVE EBAY AND 1998.

If you don't own an Altezza/IS 300 or your car doesn't have Altezza like lights stock, I'd leave em alone.

lol :tongue1:But Luxury EXport United States was the first to have that style taillight here. Japan/Europe got the Altezza in '98 and we got the IS300 in '99. Altezza sounds better than IS or RX.

its your choice man, you should not ask for approval or opinions before you make a mod that has to do with looks, in the end it does not matter what i think or anyone else only you, if you like them, then rock those bad boys! your car your choice.

i would also like to add that if i wanted them i would get them and if someone else did not like them i really would not give a flyin f**k atleast its not jdm tyte hahha i hate that shit.

right now i have the passenger and the two(pass and driver) middle one. i dont have the driver's side. you can use my two middle ones with your stocks. i think that might be better than your altezzas.

I'm not a fan of the style even when they're stock on cars. There are very few cars which I actually like that on. The Range Rover, the GTO, and the Mazda 3 seem to pull it off alright.
