i was eating lunch and across the street this car pulls up to the pump and my friend and i laughed and was like lets go talk to him , so we walked over and was like ," hey nice car you wanna sell it " and he said " sure 3000 dollars " and my friend said " how bout i give you 1500 and you can keep the body kit". then we asked about the motor and he popped the hood and to my surprise there was a z6 under the hood , who puts a z6 in a dc teg? that's like eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with mustard. i had a laugh and i thought id share it with IA . oh and check out that handy dandy tag attachment hardware !!!!

It was definately a choice of mine. I could have put a built H in it or a choice of several different engine. We did it so we could show that the D had a lot of potential. I have had a turbo D from years ago and had lots of parts sitting around. All I had to buy was a new Competition Clutch. I did buy a used turbo that had been rebuilt with a some "goodies" in it and I needed a new piping kit since the DC2 chassis is a little different that the EG/EJ. I am pleased with it and enjoy driving it on a daily basis and beating on it on an almost weekly basis at the track. Nothing like 33 mpg+450whp+mid 11 second/126 mph timeslips from one of the most underestimated engines in the Honda family:D

when i say that's what i gathered i mean this guy had no idea this motor never came in this car , he said it was wrecked and the people he bought it from put it together like this , so don't say I'm wrong cause I'm the one who talked to the guy not you.:doh: plus this thread doesn't discriminate d series engines it is just humorous that this guy was jipped on what he thought he had

I had an ED/EF just like that with the same turbo setup.:D I think the single woulda made more than 250whp. Oh well, good luck with the b20v. Should be bad-ass.

our local honda guru said a supercharger will over heat under extreme abuse and reduce the life of the supercharger so na with itbs seemed the better way to go
