My cousin has a 93 EG with a B16 swap. Now it won't start. We had the starter checked and it was good. The battery is new and we even tried to jump in off and it still wouldn't do anything. What else could it be? The safety switch on the clutch maybe?

have you tried to jump the starter? or even pop the clutch? does it try to turn over or just nothing when you turn the key?

You pop the clutch and it will start. We had O'Reilly's check the starter and they said that it was good.

How would I check the ignition switch myself?

its probably not even the switch, more then likely its the little plastic stopper that the switch hits which is a bitch to put in.. remove the switch, make sure its still plugged in and push it in by hand and turn the key.. also make sure its in neutral..

If the key will turn all the way and the car won't turn over it's likely the NSS. Just replace it, or wire the two wires going to it together (beware: if you do this it will try to crank in gear with the clutch out).

So wait, if you push it and pop the clutch, it'll start? Do that. And take off your negative off your battery, if the car shuts off, its the alternator.

x2 button on the clutch pedal is prolly gone. Use a nut and bolt.

Yeah we checked it out and it was the little plastic piece on the switch. If we push in the button on the fire wall then the car will start up. We are looking to get a new switch in the next couple of days. I appreciate all the help.
