Looking for a crew/club near gwinnett

I am an audio specialist, I have an 05 dakota, not really much done to it yet but I also have a crazy audio system. well crazy loud. The amp I will be running isn't in yet but either way. I'm looking to find or start a club in the gwinnett/loganville/lawerenceville area. I have noticed that alot of the clubs are just clubs and not really anything else. I'd like to have meets and etc. My name Is Rob. just shoot me some info for those around this area. would like to find and or get something started! No idea for a name if I do start something.:cheers:

Check out Top Notch dude. We have meets all the time. None of us are crazy modified either (ok, well C.Smock and S2KJD are). There are a few members who aren't on IA but we like to chill at least once a week or so.

well I met with top notch and apparently they are mixed in a decision on if they want me in or not... so I guess I may open Up my own crew. No name yet but This club is an open ended crew. Looking for modded and non modded guys who want to get together and roll out to shows etc. Lifted or lowered anything goes. This is a more Passion for anything automotive audio,video,all motor,forced induction,racing,bikes,paint, you name it we would like you to join. So I figure I would buy headers and have the chopped up at the same time to allow for the turbo thats all.

well I wanna put a Garrett PowerMax GT37R Dual Ball-Bearing Turbo (STAGE 1) in and get a new Y pipe collector. Maybe a 3 incher and have the down pipe drop right into that. Then I'm going to C notch the frame and put some air bags on the truck. ( I want it low and what not but If I ever wanna tow something I wanna be able to do that with out dragging the ground. I wanna be able to slam the truck on the ground but when the baggs are full I want it near or at stock ride height. Then a mild cam. light weight crank, roller rockers, intake, bigger throttle body. Maybe shave the heads down a lil bit and up my compression. Port and polish the intake and exhaust. LSD rear end. those are the current ideas. Then maybe full body wrap or paint. (cheaper for me do get a body wrap with the truck.)

don't bet on the wrap being cheaper. I've found that you can get a decent paint job for almost half the price as some of these places that do vinyl

I didn't sell the Civic. I've actually decided to keep it and finish the restore. I don't have an SRT4 (lolol, Donnie), but I had a first gen Neon that I raced SCCA (and won with I might add). It's been gone for a while.

And on a serious note, I don't know anything about your club, but I would hope that you wouldn't condone the behavior have your newest "recruit." It seems pretty shitty to have someone the likes of him out there representing (and possibly tarnishing) your club name. Later, QD.

yeah street racing is not good, i agree. but everyone have probly done it onces or twice in there life. A 5.7 L v8 in a mid size truck.

Why not just buy the 5.9 R/T motor and supercharge it.

But either way I think a srt8 or srt10 motor that would be great. I found the intake and A chip for the current engine. That will be the next few things that will buy then A drop kit. Looking at a 3/4 drop.

there is a company out of cali that had done this exact year model truck. They however did the true 4 door. They slammed it and put a 1 ton dully rear end on the truck. and did a crazy one off paint job on it. A very unique dakota I might add. I myself would prefer to do the same thing with out the dually rear end but A nice touch none the less. Just check out the ride here

Yeah If it were the old body style the truck would already be slammed and rolling on 18's or 20's with a full body kit and some serious ponies. The problem that I'm running into is that the only thing that is made for my truck is a rear spindle drop to level the truck out I might get them! but the short list of aftermarket products for my truck are ( Intakes, Exhaust, And 1 Jet chip, And a rear leveling brackets.) THATS IT! If you happen to find anything else please let me know! Yeah that bed is nice. The one thing I want to do is the sub box that is in that truck. A blow thru. I was looking into the chevy avalanche because It has that cut out factory but.... I dunno. I gotta chop a big hole in the back of my truck and build a box in the truck bed. Not a problem just a hassle thats all. Then I would buy a second 15 and blow my truck apart with bass lol. well problem is this. I am only running 1000 rms into a 2000 rms sub. There is a video of my exact sub on youtube running 8000 watts rms... and loving it. I need to get my amp running!. (blew a mosfet) but I have a DD z1 amp that is running around 5000+ rms at 1 ohm I of course wouldn't run it at 1 ohm I'd run it at 4 because I would get a little under 3K rms to the sub> Theoryetically I would get twice the volume with around 3k rms and at 5k rms I'll get 4 times the power. I should at 1 ohm on that amp see around a 148 to 154 db score!. (( put it like this a boeing 747 takes off at 140dbs just think about that kind of volume sitting against your back! ))

well got the intake today hooked it up then realized that the guy who sent me the intake didn't include the MAS adapter... SO there is a hole in the intake for something so I decided I'd try and just stick it in there. Well I do that and it runs but for some reason I'm throwing a code. My check engine light is on... I am currently resetting everything because I ran the truck with out having the mas plugged in. But the thing looks sick! I emailed the guy and Am awaiting the reply but... who knows...

well after resetting my ecu etc. The check engine light is off. so that fixed that problem but I'm not too fond of the i stuck the MAS in a grommet covered hole lol.

i did this with paint. the grill wasn't originally chrome also a paint edit. lol but yeah this was a neat little trick lol lowered paint idea and chrome grill also my truck had chrome vent shades so added those too. sorta...

well Having the tranny replaced and having a few things done up a little different over factory. changing up the gearing up a little. having the high output gearing put in the factory tranny setup. also got the intake put on the other week. already have the exhaust. for now i'm stranded lol.
