anyone ever broke thier jaw? i just did on sunday

i just broke my jaw in 3 places on sunday when i fell off my bicycle i was goin like 5mph too i dont understand why its so bad but im jacked up bad i got a plate in my chin and have no feeling on my chin and parts of my cheek.SUCKS!now i have my mouth wired shut for the next 4 weeks and its feels odd lol.
i was curious to see if anyone on here had this happen before and if they had any blended food recipes they used cause im burnt out already on potatoes and soups. right now i got a big icecream shake with a bannana and some blue berries in it hahha i need my calories!!

anyone have anytips on gettin through it without goin crazy feel free to share any experinces you have like this......

it happened so fast i dont know but when i stood up i knew it was broke its broke on both sides and the chin aswell. i now have a plate in my chin and no feeling on my right side of my face due to nerve damage and i have one ugly set of teeth now a few broke off but most ground off on the pavement,,,,,ouch!

im sure you can find some protein that is unflavored on bodybuilding.com they are super fast shipping and prices are great. shipping will be maybe 2 days because they are based out of fl. try that.

Something you should try is Bolthouse farm drinks. not sure if your the organic food type or what not but these are smoothie drinks with ample amounts of nutrients.

nope no insurance, to expensive.i know not as expensive as the bill. but i could not pay rent if i had heath and dental insurance. im gonna do 40.00 a month on the hospital bill lol thats all i can do.

just got my wires out today and a tooth fragment removed from my upper lip. now i have rubber bands and the arch bar for the next 3 weeks,i can take out the bands to brush and chew small bits of food but i have not tried yet cause of the stitches,

the doc said i have 3 months or more before it will 100% sure im good or need a rebreak and wired up again. god i hope im good......63,000.00 and 750.00 for today damn expensive get insurance folks!!!
