This is a 2007 Honda Civic coupe with 2007 Nissan 350Z anniversary rims. LOL! we were painting his current rims and threw these on for fun...

Discuss your thoughts.

BTW the rims are staggered. so we put the 8.5in rims in the front and the 8in rims in the rear. With that setup it actually was hella flush. LOL!

looks great, besides the VW's been doing stuff like this forever. most people don't want to accept that aftermarket wheel designs come from somewhere.( i got old skool audi wheels in front and team dynamics in back, both look similar.)

hmm... we didnt pay attention to the hub bore. if anything the nissan rim would have a larger one, because there were no issues fitting them on. we were just playing around with my track rims for my 240.

but even if he kept them on there i'm pretty sure that we could find a hub adaptor ring that would work, but like i said we didnt pay attention to that.

Just cause it looks good doesn't mean to do it. Those are RWD wheels on a FWD car, your rear will likely scrub with anyone in the back or a full trunk.

Also OEM wheels on one brand to another brand is a BIG No no for me.

However its your money, your car, do as you wish, post pics on the internet and take what you get.

MR2 Guys put 240 wheels and 300zx wheels on their cars all the time. Not to mention lots of people put cobra replicas on their cars.

yes they are rwd designed wheels, but we put the wider rims in the front... think of it like some fat ass tires on the front for traction at the strip. same concept. Scrubing is highly unlikely with stock suspension unless my friend decides to haul fat chicks and drop spare motors in the trunk. Its a civic coupe... how much are you gonna pile in the thing anyway.

this was just for fun anyway.

after all the good comments, he wants to buy the rims off me... we already painted his current rims bronze and we will prolly do the same if by chance he actually is going to buy them.

So you are taking pics only and not going to drive with it right? Funny there is a great article in EVO this month (has the orange Lambo on the cover) and in the rear they talk about going staggered up front on a FWD car and WHY ITS ASININE. It only will compound problems with a FWD setup. It reiterated what I knew.

If its for pics only fine, thanks for sharing. :)
