View Full Version : How many of you gals DO NOT know how to drive a stick. OWN UP!

So, I have been calling around to a few girls I know to be on a team with me and would you believe that almost NONE of them know how to drive a stick??? Some of them are "industry" chicks, too. I was like WTF????

So, for my knowledge, which girls can not drive a stick? I think I might just host a driving school specifically for women who can't drive a stick....and it will be free. I am sick of this shit.

NOW OWN UP!

Beautiful, man. Beautiful. It's like what the fuck are you going to do when you have a stick shift in one hand and a steering wheel in the other? How the hail are you going to hold on to the frying pan or the mop? The fuck is this shit? Later, QD.

I'm not sure how to drive stick. I've played with a manual transmission in a few video games before, so I kinda have an idea of how it works. I swear, one day I'm gonna learn for real. Maybe I can get my daddy to teach me.

Its really not that hard, I don't know why people are so scared to learn. I didn't know how when I bought my car, my mom showed me the basics and I practiced in the neighborhood until I was comfortable to hit the streets. Took 2 weeks top to be perfect

My mom always drove a stick, so I knew how it sounded when it was time to shift from a young age. Then I used to shift it for her as I got older. Then once I got a little older I had to start picking up drunk people at the bar in a stick only truck. I did my first hill climbing/mud bogging in a Toyota pick up by the time I was 16. So, I pretty much have always known how.

Not a chick...But when I bought my 1st car I didn't know how 2 drive a stick..and it was a stick...I wanted the car so bad I basically learned how to drive it on the way home and then practiced in a empty parking lot... I got the hang of it really quick..Now I don't even think about it.

I tought my ex how to drive a stick in an old toyota truck....Didn't think my car would be the best choice for her to learn on

Any ladies need help learning, I'll teach ya! Been driving a manual for a while now...and I'm easy on the eyes too... lol

My first car was a stick and I have drove one ever since. I have driven both 5 and 6 speeds. I have driven Chris's "6 puck Stage 4 Competition clutch in the STi", the stock ones in Accord, S2000 , RSX, CRX, Integra, and GTO. The most recent I have driven is an Exedy 3 puck in the new silver STi which I have to say SUCKS ASS. The best by far is the 6 puck in the STi.

Feel free to shoot me a PM Tracy if you need any thing.

Not gonna lie, the silver STi's clutch is NOT fun. I haven't driven the black car for comparison, but I've driven other vehicles with similar clutches and they weren't nearly as twitchy as that Exedy.
