george a novi...you serious....why did you go half ass on the whipple! if your going to get a centrifugal supercharger why not a procharger or at least a vortech....or better yet the whipple idea you had! :no:

I had thought about the whipple for a while, I really did, but for what I wanted in my car it wasnt going to be the best choice. All the kits I looked at would have given me the power output Ive been looking for.

I didnt go with Procharger because in my opinion it sounds too harsh and sounds like something is busted under the hood, plus the constant belt breaks I heard about. The Novi 2200 is one of the best centris out there, not sure if you knew that. The kit is rated up to 900HP @ 22psi. Im making 480 at about 7.5. I say thats pretty damn good and not quite "half ass" as you put it.


My budget was around 7 grand, and I stayed within that amount. I could have gone with any kit for the most part other than the KB Mammoth. I did my research and this was my best choice for what I wanted in my car. The Vortech is too quiet. I at least wanted to know I had something under there ;)



Edit: A TVS or Twin would be nice, but honestly I have no problems with traction right now which is great, I probably couldnt say that if I went with one. :)

Still say the whipple. Better sound, better power band. Plus all the research and first hand exp. I have read about from the paxtons was never good. But hey cant dog on you though for having a that sexy can with sexy numbers! :boobies:

lol not when you work in the building. One of the security guys has a professional detailing business in the parking garage, made me late to work one morning just talking shit about cars. Really cool. They are just doing their job though, lots of high dollar cars parked in that lot.

Theyll do a full inside and out hand cleaning for about 20 bucks, wax for an extra 10. A lot of people in my office use him since you drop your car off in the morning, go work for 8 hours, and get a clean ass ride after lol

Well they offer full on high speed detailing stuff, but honestly I havent inquired about those prices. I have seen them detail Lambos, Astons, etc. But christ ive got a mustang, I just get a wash and wax and im good :lmfao:
